Calling all tattooed cooks: Monday is 'Smoked and Inked' night at IN

The Monday installment of IN, the free biweekly industry night for kitchen pros and others at SeaBar, will include smoked snacks and chef skin.

Not on the same plate. The smoked chicken wings will be made by J.J. Richert of Torches, his brother Kevin will offer pork belly tacos from Smoke on the Water, and Michael Obarka of Ristorante Lombardo will contribute arancini (rice balls) with squid ink. Separately, photographer K.C. Kratt will be documenting food-related tattoos borne by Western New York kitchen professionals.

Sign-up is required by Saturday for photos. "Many industry peeps bearing themed ink have already signed up to have their image captured, but if you have tattoos of food, drink, or kitchen equipment, and want to be added to the schedule, email [email protected] before Saturday, September 28," organizer Christa Glennie Seychew posted.
