IMportant People 12-10-08: Talking hoops with the Golden Griffs
They're young, they're talented, and they're fun to watch - they are the Canisius College men's basketball team. The Golden Griffins have posted a 3-5 record in the first month of the college basketball season, but that puts the squad on pace to easily outdo the 2007-2008 team's 6-25 mark. The Griffs are also working to rebuild fan support at the Koessler Athletic Center, encouraging the kind of raucous student support that makes "The KAC" a dangerous trip for any visiting team.
