Bisons doubleheader: take two

Laffey_2 After an interesting "rainout" on a sunny Saturday, the Bisons will play a twinbill against the visiting Syracuse Chiefs at 1:05 today. A tornado whipping through the area is the only thing that's going to prevent this game from being played...

Aaron Laffey, left, will look to tie the Bisons' record for most consecutive wins by a starting pitcher, taking the W in each of his last seven decisions to go to 7-3.

John Koronka (0-1) is expected to take the start in Round Two.

The Buffalo starting lineup for game one:

Hector Luna, ss
Jason Cooper, lf
Luis Rivas, 2b
Ryan Mulhern, 1b
Keith Ginter, dh
Andy Marte, 3b
Mike Rose, c
Brad Snyder, rf
Jonathan Van Every, cf
Aaron Laffey, p

Saturday's cancellation will be played as a doubleheader on Monday at 6:05.
