Victor updates

Victor Martinez's at-bats tonight for the Bisons on his injury rehab assignment in Dunn Tire Park:

One out in the first inning vs. Lehigh Valley against starter Carlos Carrasco: Martinez, in his first Bisons at-bat since 2003, lined Carrasco's first-pitch fastball to right field. The ball looked good off the bat, but Martinez just missed it and Lehigh Valley right-fielder Jon Knott put him away a few steps in front of the warning track.

IndiansxLeading off the third inning against Carrasco: Martinez walked on seven pitches. Martinez's only swing resulted in a weak opposite-field blooper foul down the left-field line before he  jogged to first -- and then home three pitches later after Michael Aubrey homered to right.

No outs in the fifth inning against Carrasco: With the bases loaded and nobody out, Martinez hit an 0-1 change-up from Carrasco to shallow right-field. Credit Martinez with an RBI as Andy Cannizaro tags from third.

One out in the sixth inning against Lehigh Valley reliever Jason Anderson: Martinez drove in his second run with a single over the second baseman's head, and that will be it. Herd manager Torey Lovullo just called for a pinch runner. Martinez finished 1 for 2 with a walk, a run scored and two RBIs.
