If you're thinking about Thursday's season opener at Coca-Cola Field, I think you can keep your plans intact and go. A lot of the snow has already melted from the field and the Bisons are pressing forward on the assumption they will be playing Pawtucket at 3:05. The forecast is for sunshine and temperatures approaching 50.
The team worked out inside on Tuesday, and manager Ken Oberkfell would probably like to see his club get a chance to hit the field Wednesday in advance of the game. We'll see on that.
The roster is still unsettled and might not be finalized until Thursday morning. Be sure to check out our Bisons preview stories in Wednesday's pape as well as John Hickey's photo gallery from Tuesday's workout and last week's video about what's new at the ballpark for 2009.
