Let's see. K-Rod is 2 for 2 in saves and the Mets are 2-0 after Wednesday night's 9-7 survival test at Cincinnati.
Meanwhile, over in Yankeeland, Mark Teixeira is 1 for 9 while CC Sabathia and Chien-Ming Wang have combined to give up 13 runs on 17 hits over eight innings with eight walks and no strikeouts! Wednesday's 7-5 loss to the Orioles was another ugly one. And Joba Chamberlain had to deal with the release of his DUI video, which included knocks at New York drivers and Yogi Berra's height.
With A.J. Burnett making his debut, the Yankees will be trying to avoid starting 0-3 for the first time since 1998 today at 1:30 (although, as you might remember, '98 turned out OK).
Keep it here later today for full coverage of the Bisons' home opener with top Mets prospect Jonathon Niese getting the start.
