Herd ready for doubleheader

The clouds just cleared up and the Bisons are warming up. Looks like they'll get in this doubleheader after a brief scare earlier. The Bisons will play two seven-inning games tonight against the Toledo Mud Hens (42-48). Buffalo (32-55) has a good shot to take a pair of games tonight at Coca-Cola Field with Jon Niese and Nelson Figueroa on the mound. Both have been on lately.

Niese is 4-0  in his last five starts. Through the run, he has posted a 0.83 ERA with only 10 walks and 40 strikeouts. The 6-foot-4 southpaw is 4-6 on the season after a rough start. Figueroa has the fourth-lowest ERA in the IL.

We'll see if the duo can keep rolling tonight. First pitch is slated for 5:35 p.m.
