NEW YORK -- Jimmy Rollins was on Jay Leno's show last night and Derek Jeter's former WBC teammate had no problem making a prediction on the World Series saying, "If we're nice, we'll let it go six."
The Yankees' media session in the Great Hall just ended and several players had a good chuckle when told what Rollins said. Nick Swisher could barely control his laughter before reminding the media around his table that this isn't the NFL. There aren't many bulletin boards in the Yankees' clubhouse.
"Hey man, he's having fun with it," Swisher said. "He goes out and has a blast playing the game. It's all good."
Cracked a smiling Jeter: "Hey, it's nice he gave us six."
When the Phillies' media session starts in about an hour, rest assured Rollins will get plenty of attention. Check out the video from last night below (ignore the Dr. Phil screenshot. You click on it and it goes right to Rollins).
