Schwinden returns to Coca-Cola Field

Chris Schwinden will make his Coca-Cola Field debut this afternoon as the Herd plays Scranton/Wilkes-Barre. The righty was the Bisons Most Valuable Pitcher last year after earning eight wins with 134 strikeouts 00 the third most in a single season by a Bison in the Modern Era. Schwinden opened the season with a win over Rochester last wee. He gave up just two unearned runs in five innings.

Mike Harrington

Mike Harrington, a Canisius College graduate who began his career as a News reporter in 1987, has covered the Buffalo Bisons since 1992 and Major League Baseball since 1995. A member of the Baseball Writers' Association of America, Harrington has reported on more than 30 MLB postseason series — including every game of the World Series in this century — and all three of the Bisons' championship runs in their modern era.
