As part of their seasonlong barnstorming tour, the Scranton/Wilkes-Barre (Empire State) Yankees will play seven home games in tiny, 2,600-seat Dwyer Stadium in Batavia, home of the Batavia Muckdogs of the New York-Penn League. The Yankees will be in Batavia all weekend for a four-game series against the Norfolk Tides, Baltimore's top affiliate.
The teams play tonight at 7, Saturday and Sunday at 1 and Monday at noon. Tickets are $9, $8 and $7. The ballpark is easy to get to via the Thruway, about a 45-minute drive from Buffalo. Take Exit 48 for Batavia, go left on Oak Street, left on Richmond Avenue and left on Bank Street to the ballpark.
