Zach Wheeler gets his fourth start at Triple A this afternoon as the Herd faces Scranton/Wilkes-Barre at Coca-Cola Field. The Yankees will again be the home team today.
Wheeler is comign off his first decision for the Herd -- a loss against Lehigh Valley on Aug. 16. Overall he is 0-1 with a 4.60 earned run average and 16 strikeouts in 15 2/3 innings with Buffalo.
Lefty Justin Thomas (1-1, 3.75) starts for Scranton. It's his fifth start for the Yankees. He started 2012 with the Boston Red Sox, appearing in seven games. He then went to Pawtucket and was claimed off waivers by the Yankees on May 12.
