Bulletin: Reyes on his way to Buffalo

by Amy Moritz

Reports on Twitter from Toronto reporters noted that shortstop Jose Reyes would be joining the Buffalo Bisons on Friday for games this weekend. Reyes injured his ankle on a slide into second base on April 12. He began his rehabiliation assignment with Class A Dunedin on Monday and seems to be ahead of his rehab schedule.

Reyes, a four-time National League All-Star, started Dunedin's last three games at shortstop, going 5 for 12 with one RBI and three runs scored.
