Gose recalled by the Blue Jays while Bisons gain a pitcher

by Amy Moritz

A few pre-game roster moves announced before the Buffalo Bisons begin their noon doubleheader with the Scranton/Wilkes-Barre RailRiders.

As expected, Anthony Gose was recalled by the Blue Jays as their 26th man for the doubleheader against the Twins in Minnesota. Gose will likely play center field in the second game.

The Bisons also added a pitcher as righty Austin Bibens-Dirkx was promoted from Double-A New Hampshire. Bibens-Dirks, 28, has a 4.15 earned run average in two starts for the Fisher Cats. He split last season between Single-A Dunedin and New Hampshire. In 29 games he was 12-9 with a 2.48 ERA.
