IMportant People 2-4-09: Presidential politics with historian Phillip Payne

Harding Historians, political scientists, and political partisans have already begun what will be a long and heated discussion about the legacy of President George W. Bush. And with the changing of the guard in Washington this month, there's also been a lot of looking backward at the legacy of one of our greatest presidents, Abraham Lincoln.

This week on IMportant People, we'll chat with presidential historian Philip Payne, author of a forthcoming book on President Warren G. Harding - frequently cited as one of America's worst presidents. How does President Bush compare? Are those comparisons even fair? Who IS the worst president ever - and who's the best? Join us Wednesday at noon for a discussion of presidential legacies on Buffalo.com's IMportant People.
