2:38 p.m.: Only single seats remain for the first two home playoff games, Sabres spokesman Mike Gilbert just told me.
There are about 700 tickets left for the third home game, and about 1,000 for the fourth, Gilbert said.
There were 2,000 tickets available for each of the four games of the first round when tickets went on sale at 9 a.m. today.
If the third and/or fourth games for the first round are not played, ticket buyers should return to their point of purchase to get their money refunded, Gilbert said. Tickets purchased for the third and fourth games, if not played, do not apply for the second round.
If the Sabres make it past the first round, the team will announce ticket availability, he said.
1:23 p.m.: After four hours and some change, there are seats still available for the Sabres' home playoff games, according to searches of Tickets.com.
Playoff tickets went on sale at 9 a.m. at the HSBC Arena box office and online at Tickets.com.
Just a few minutes ago, pairs of tickets were still available in the 100 level for the first home game. Those tickets are $158 a pop.
Tickets on the 200 level are also still available for the first game.
Dates and times of the playoff games have not been determined. Ticket prices range from $58 to $173.
