BUFFALO -- Flowers meet art at a noon lecture today at the Central Library.
Jessica DiPalma of the Albright-Knox Art Gallery will present a look at works of art that incorporate floral themes during the weekly "Gardening Monday" lunchtime talk.
The hour-long presentation, "The Art of Flowers," is free and open to the public and will take place from noon to 1 p.m. in the first-floor Ring of Knowledge area at the Central Library, 1 Lafayette Square.
The News' Susan Martin recently offered an A to Z guide to summer garden events, including information about upcoming "Gardening Monday" talks at the Buffalo & Erie County Library.
