The Buffalo Zoo and the Buffalo Niagara International Airport were the sites chosen by two romantic guys who wanted to spring a big, life-altering surprise on their girlfriends. And thanks to YouTube, we can share the moments.
First, with the help of Surapa the elephant, Corey Scherrer asks Ashleigh Gravel to be his bride. Watch to the end and you will see Surapa offer Ashleigh a rose in a container.
Next, watch Carm Saieva surprise Sarah Candelora with a serenade of "Endless Love" performed by the Cheektowaga Community Chorus. This vide was shot by a friend of Saieva's sister who happened to also be picking someone up at the airport.
A second video of the proposal from a slightly different angle was made by the hubsnad of one of the singer of the chorus.
And here's the update: Scherrer and Gravel married Aug. 25, a year, a month and a day after his proposal. Saieva and Candelora, who became engaged in April, are planning their wedding. Both the couple and the Cheektowaga Community Chorus are interested in having the chorus make a return appearance at the wedding.
