Morning meeting: Stories we are working on

Just got finished with the 11 a.m. news meeting. Here's what's on tap:

*Staff Reporter Sandra Tan is following up on the two people who were killed on the bike path in Amherst.

*John Vogl is in Toronto covering Rick Jeanneret's induction into the Hockey Hall of Fame. He's expected to file something by early afternoon.

*Our Bills beat reporters are tracking down Bills running back Fred Jackson's status. Jackson was injured in Sunday's loss to the Patriots.

*Arts Editor Jeff Simon is writing about "Queen City," which is being screened at the Market Arcade on Wednesday night.

*The Small Business Administration is releasing the latest numbers on what banks are making the most loans. M&T Bank is high on the list.

*Gotti, the two-year-old pit bull (pictured below) that was dragged behind its owner's SUV, will be going up for adoption today. Daniel Delaney Jr., who is facing animal cruelty charges, had been attempting to block the move.
