Photos: Firefighters rally in front of City Hall

Hundreds of Buffalo firefighters and their supporters gathered for a rally on the steps of City Hall on Thursday morning and welcomed International Association of Firefighters General President Harold Schaitberger. Schaitberger acknowledged that firefighters in Buffalo have been without a current contract in 11 years and called for an end to the dispute between the union and the city, but said he wanted to focus on the service professional firefighters provide during natural disasters and times of crisis.
