Here's a few of the stories our reporters are working on, as discussed in this morning's news meeting:
*There are two public hearings today on proposed new rates from National Grid. Our David Robinson will be at the 2 p.m. hearing in Cheektowaga Town Hall. There's another at 6 p.m. in the Amherst Municipal Building.
*Olean General Hospital is alerting almost 2,000 patients they may have received injections from used insulin pens. This follows a similar situation at the Buffalo VA hospital.
*The Buffalo Bills are giving reporters access to their new assistant coaches on the offensive side of the ball today. Jay Skurski will be at One Bills Drive. (Defensive coach availability is tomorrow.)
*The Erie County Legislature today is expected to approve the new lease for Ralph Wilson Stadium with the Bills.
*Defense Secretary Leon Panetta is expected to officially announce a policy change that will open combat roles to women in the military. We'll be talking to local women veterans.
