Live Blog - West Seneca Town Board - 7 p.m.

The West Seneca Town Board is expected to take action to modify its town code governing firearms in response to a petition from a local developer seeking to construct a 27,000 square foot indoor public shooting range on North America Drive.

The proposal was tabled at last Thursday's meeting of the town's Planning Board after legal counsel advised the body that the town board had exclusive jurisdiction over permitting or prohibiting the use of firearms in the town of West Seneca.
