Video: Polo in its heyday

It has been a few decades since the heyday of the Knoxes and polo competition at their estate in East Aurora, when matches attracted large crowds to watch riders on horseback thundering across the polo field.

Polo is coming back to East Aurora this weekend. Get ready by watching this nine-minute lesson from the sport's heyday. The video, posted on YouTube, was taken during the 1930 Westchester Cup polo matches.
