Zeppelin Fighters of the Stone Age
Not sure I could've dreamed up a cooler band then Them Crooked Vultures.
Foo Fighter Dave Grohl back behind the kit, right where he was with Nirvana. Queens of the Stone Age guitarist/vocalist Josh Homme doing his weird and wonderful thing. And Led Zeppelin bassist/keyboardist/arranger John Paul Jones laying down the low-end.
It seems too good to be true, but it isn't. On November 17th, this supergroup will release its debut album, and it is killer, top to bottom. There will be a tour, too, but no word of anything in our neighborhood yet.
Check this out, and get psyched!

Been psyched about this for the past month. Can't wait!

I saw them when they came through the Toronto. Believe the hype, these songs are rock solid stoner jams that border on the progressive in timing, but remain true to form along Homme's style of banging home the riff as long as he's willing. If you get the chance to see them on their next come around, pay the money. its great.

Can't wait to hear this album. I'm thinking B'lo will be bypassed if they tour...our best bet might be a cleveland show?
