Wegmans posts summer's price-freeze list

Wegmans
Wegmans has released its consistent low pricing list for summer.

Wegmans will freeze prices on a list of items it says families buy most. The list differs from the one released for winter, and contains things people buy more often in summer.

The list includes bananas priced at 49 cents a pound, Wegmans brand macaroni and cheese for 49 cents per box and Wegmans brand whole wheat bread for $1.99. For a complete list of items and prices, click here.

Wegmans vows to keep the prices in place until August 25, whether or not the cost of each item increases.
