North Tonawanda: Walmart, St. Joseph, Pizza Hut

Tuesday night was a busy night for the North Tonawanda Planning Commission.

After a lull in activity due to a lawsuit, the proposed Walmart Supercenter was back on the table. Read about the latest developments here.

Plans to turn the former St. Joseph Catholic Church into a campus with housing for veterans and homeless youth came before the commission, as well. Click here to find out how the discussion went.

The commission also engaged in a preliminary review of a proposed Northwest Savings Bank branch on Meadow Drive, on the site of a former Pizza Hut. More detailed plans must be submitted before the commission grants final approval.
