Today in City Hall

By Jill Terreri

Good morning,

Mayor Byron W. Brown will join Police Commissioner Daniel Derenda and U.S. Sen. Charles Schumer this morning at the federal courthouse to discuss witness intimidation, which is a "real problem in Buffalo," according to Schumer's office.

At 2 p.m. today, the Common Council will hold a pre-meeting caucus to discuss tomorrow's Council meeting agenda, which includes the confirmation of Donna Estrich as commissioner of administration, finance, policy and urban affairs. The agenda also includes Council Member Darius G. Pridgen's suggestion that Erie Community College locate its medical training programs at the former Sheehan Healthnetwork facility on Michigan Avenue, less than a mile from the Buffalo Niagara Medical Campus.
