Morning Links: Amy Winehouse released after drug charge

Amy Winehouse was arrested yesterday in England over her appearance in an undercover video by The Sun newspaper from January which showed the singer smoking crack. The 24-year-old singer was charged with alleged possession of a controlled drug.

Reports said the singer looked her usual disheveled mess when she arrived at the station to turn herself in. She was questioned for more than nine hours by police and was released after making bail, pending further inquiries later this month.

British authorities have explained that it's routine procedure to put someone under arrest when they appear for questioning in connection with an alleged crime.

They allege that when Ryan Seacrest was giving Jason's number, they say Jason is mouthing "Don't vote" in a joking subliminal message.
