The Grammy nominations are out, and Lil Wayne and Coldplay lead the way. Lil Wayne earned the most nominations for his rap album Tha Carter III, which garnered 8 nominations. Coldplay's Viva la Vida earned 7 nominations.

The airwaves have been saturated with Britney Spears this past week, where she's spun her divorce and custody situation. Well, Kevin Federline broke his silence, speaking to People, to give his side in a cover story. Anne Heche is expecting a baby with boyfriend James Tupper, according to Us Weekly. It will be the couple's first child, but Heche's 2nd. She has a 6-year-old son, Homer, from her marriage to Coley Laffoon.

In other baby news, Gena Lee Nolin, who starred on Baywatch, has given birth to a baby girl. Stella Monroe Hulse was born Wednesday to Nolin and husband, NHL player Cale Hulse. This is the couple's second child, who also have a son born in 2006.

Kelly Ripa says that the tabloid reports that her 12-year marriage to Mark Consuelos is over are not true. "There is no truth to the story. Their marriage continues to be quite healthy, and the National Enquirer should be ashamed for fabricating such an untruthful story," Ripa's rep told People.

Pete Wentz says that son Bronx Mowgli was a "happy accident," but says that his birth is the perfect excuse for him to shed his rock 'n' roll ways for good. "I think that certain things happen for a reason in your life, and maybe it was time to put the wild child in a cage," he said.

The younger brother of Mark Ruffalo was shot in the head Monday morning, and remains in the hospital. Beverly Hills police called the incident "suspicious" and it remains under investigation.

William Balfour was denied bail in the triple homicide of Jennifer Hudson's mother, brother and nephew. Cook County prosecutors are offering their theory on a motive: Balfour was angered to learn that Hudson's sister, Julia, was dating another man.
