When "Jon & Kate Plus Eight" returns to TV Aug. 3, “You’re still going to see two parents that love their kids, but you’ll see them parenting separately," TLC General Manager and President Eileen O’Neill said at a Television Critics Association panel in Pasadena. “You’ll see Jon struggle in the kitchen trying to make pizza for his kids,” O'Neill said. "You’ll see what its like when Kate has to put a tent up for the first time for her kids, who love to camp in their backyard.” O'Neill didn't reveal whether Jon's dates -- including Kate Major and Hailey Glassman -- will appear on the show.

Michael Jackson's mother Katherine has been given full, permanent custody of her three grandchildren, in exchange for giving visitation rights to the older children's biological mother, Debbie Rowe. In other Jackson news, the report on his autopsy, expected this week, has been delayed because law enforcement officials say further investigation is needed. The whereabouts of his apparently still unburied body are unknown, although a spokesman for Berry Gordy denies reports that he is temporarily in a crypt owned by Gordy. And Papa Joe Jackson said in an interview that Norwegian rapper Omer Bhatti is his grandson, the child of Michael Jackson, although he seemed more interested in the young man's talent than his DNA.

Conflicting career demands kept them apart and ultimately doomed the two-year relationship of reality show star Kim Kardashian and NFL running back Reggie Bush, friends say. "Reggie really wanted her in New Orleans when he was there playing but Kim is traveling more than ever," the source told People. According to her online registry, Burke's child, a girl she will name Sophia, is due Oct. 6. Two police chiefs who were accused of plotting to steal information from the surrogate who was carrying twins for Sarah Jessica Parker and Matthew Broderick will appear in in an Ohio court today. Martins Ferry Police Chief Barry Carpenter, Bridgeport Police Chief Chad Dojack, and Bruce Callarik, who is both the son of Bridgeport’s mayor and Dojack's father-in-law, were arrested. The men are suspected of plotting to enter the home of the surrogate and steal items, including photos and telephone messages by SJP, to sell to a tabloid. The surrogate gave birth to twin girls on June 23.
Country music star Kenny Chesney is denying that he and Jessica Simpson were flirting with one another at a July 4th party, in front of Simpson's then-boyfriend Tony Romo, leading one tabloid to speculate that it may have been the cause of the break-up five days later.
"Tony's a friend, and I wouldn't flirt with a buddy's girlfriend. More importantly, Jessica was just being sweet and there was nothing else to it. It's not funny. ... If a girl and her boyfriend can't go to someone's house for a Fourth of
July party and talk to the other guests without it turning into a big

The drunk driver accused of running down flamboyant American Idol auditioner Alexis Cohen is planning to fight the charges. "There will be a not guilty plea entered across the board for all of the complaints," the lawyer of Daniel Bark told People. The lawyer, Daniel Glassman, says that there are no eyewitnesses that have come forward, and that Cohen was at a bar herself and her condition pre-accident is unknown, suggesting the possibility that she may have walked into traffic in a stupor. "We don't know what her state of affairs were, her physical condition
was, if she walked into the vehicle," Glassman said. "We don't know
about the lighting in the area, there are a myriad of factors."

Miley Cyrus has a stalker and the LAPD is now on alert. Michael Jackson's mother Katherine has filed court papers seeking extensive financial documentation from the lawyers for his estate and the concert promoter who was arranging the July London concert series. In the papers filed in Los Angeles Superior Court, Katherine says "The special administrators [of Jackson's estate] have, up to this point, refused all requests," and are "apparently intent on keeping her in the dark as much and for as long as possible." But the executors say her demands are unreasonable and require them to copy and hand over "all documents, letters, photographs, notebooks, DVDs, CDs, reports, voice recordings, calendars, drawings, diaries, summaries, storyboards, journals, files, business records, emails, notes, schedules" in special administrator John Branca's possession.

With toxicology test results from Jackson's autopsy due any day, police and federal Drug Enforcement Administration officers searched the Las Vegas home and office of Dr. Conrad Murray for hours yesterday. A neighbor in the Red Rock Country Club neighborhood in Summerlin described the scene as "calm, very controlled" during the extensive search. The doctor's attorney said police took cell phones and computer hard drives in their search for any records kept for Michael Jackson or under his aliases, which TMZ is reporting included "Josephine Baker." The DEA was present a week ago when Murray's Houston clinic and storage unit were searched. The raid followed reports that the cardiologist is suspected of giving Jackson, who suffered from insomnia, the fatal dose of propofol, an anesthesia drug that results in unconsciousness.

Mischa Barton, who was hospitalized July 15 for psychiatric issues, is back home and preparing to start work on her new show, "The Beautiful Life." Barton, 23, "will be resuming production as planned with the rest of the cast in NYC," her rep tells People, just in time for filming to begin Friday. "She's back to business as usual." Ashton Kutcher, creator and producer of the show about the high-pressure world of fashion models, said earlier, "Right now, Mischa Barton is doing great." Hulk and Linda Hogan have reached an agreement that will end their drawn-out, bitter divorce fight. As they battled over assets that included two houses valued at some $8 million. Linda charged that Hulk, real name Terry Bollea, had an affair with their daughter's best friend, while he said she abused drugs (her drug test was negative) and siphoned off family money. But in court Tuesday, Linda greeted him with a kiss on the cheek, and said the deal is "good for our family. It's good for our kids. It's great being on speaking terms with my husband -- with my ex-husband."

Taylor Momsen, who plays "Gossip Girl" Jenny Humphrey, says she doesn't have much in common with other teenagers. "I live a very adult life," says the 16-year-old, who got her high school diploma two years early, tells Teen Vogue. "I just can't relate to what they talk about – it seems so petty." While she says she's had "lots of relationships," she doesn't care for boys her own age. "Boys are so much less mature than girls as it is. I would eat a boy my age alive." She also confesses to "trust issues," and says, "I'm close to like, two people."
American Idol Season 1 winner Kelly Clarkson wants fans to know that she did not rip off Beyonce. Clarkson's new single "Already Gone" has a backing track that was also used on Beyonce's single "Halo."
Clarkson says that the producer used the backing track in both songs without her knowledge, and she has tried to keep her song from being released as a single, however her label, RCA, went behind her back and released it.
"No one's gonna be sittin' at home, thinking 'Man, Ryan Tedder gave Beyonce and Kelly the same track to write to.' No, they're just gonna be saying I ripped someone off," Clarkson told a Canadian radio station. "I fought and fought. In the end, they're releasing it without my consent. It sucks, but it's one of those things I have no control over. I already made my album. At this point, the record company can do whatever they want with it."

Reality TV personality Kim Kardashian and her NFL boyfriend, Reggie Bush, have ended their relationship after two years. A sources tells People that the time apart during the football season strained their relationship. "It's been a long time coming. They still love each other and are part of their lives, but Reggie spends six months out of the year in New Orleans, so it's tough," the source said.
Also calling it quits are musician Joe Jonas and actress girlfriend Camilla Belle. Belle's rep confirms the split, saying: "Yes, it's true, they have broken up. ... There is no third party involved and they care deeply about each other and will remain friends."

Actor Kelsey Grammer hoped to make an appearance in a Colorado court to testify at the parole hearing of the man who raped and killed his sister in 1975. But weather delayed Grammer's flight, and he missed the date. But Grammer was able to send a written statement and told the parole board: "This is a butcher -- a monster," and urged them not to release him so he couldn't "slaughter another innocent" or "destroy another family."

A law enforcement source has told the AP that Dr. Conrad Murray administered the anesthetic that is believed to have killed Michael Jackson. The source says Murray plied the propofol some time after midnight and "happened to find" an unconscious Jackson in the morning, and tried to revive him.
The source also described the condition of the rental mansion, telling the AP that another bedroom was a disaster with clothing and papers everywhere, including pages taped to the wall with slogans such as "Children are sweet and innocent" on them.
The upstairs of the home was off limits to all people, but Jackson and his children; and was "stifling hot," with fireplaces and heaters on high because Jackson always complained of being cold.

With news that Octomon Nadya Suleman had reached terms for a reality series which would pay her brood $250,000 over the next three years, family activist attorney Gloria Allred has asked a California court to step in for the children's sake. A drunk driver killed infamous American Idol contestant Alexis Cohen, People reports. The driver, Daniel Bark, had a previous DUI on his record and was trying to flee police because of the earlier conviction. Bark was eventually stopped for DUI and it was later discovered that a lifeless Cohen was found along the escape route, leading police to charge Bark for her death as well.

Actor John Travolta is still a Scientologist, despite a report in a British tabloid that he had grown "disenchanted" with the 'religion.' "There's no change in the relationship between the Church of Scientology and John. ... He is a member and it's as it was, now and forever," Travolta's rep said.
Hold on, says Jon Gosselin. He's single, not engaged or commited to either Hailey Glassman or Kate Major, the tabloid reporter who fell so hard for him when she went to interview him that she quit her job to be with him. About Glassman, who just last week said she loves Jon, he said, "She's always a good friend of mine. Her family is so good. ... I love them to death." But, he said, She doesn't like this [craziness]. Former "American Idol" contestant Alexis Cohen, whose glittery makeup and obscenity-laced tirade against judge Simon Cowell was featured on season 7 and again on season 8, was struck and killed by a car in a hit-and-run New Jersey beach town. The "Idol' film crew followed her to the tiny apartment she shared with her mom and cats, leading viewers to believe that she might be advanced to the semifinals, but her singing was judged to be not good enough. "It was all a bit possessed for me," Simon said, sparking an angry bird-flipping outburst from her.

And James Brown's family feud kept his burial delayed for 10 weeks.

Paramedics who responded to the scene of Jackson's death now say he was beyond help when they arrived, with no pulse and no electrical activity in his heart, and they wanted to pronounce him dead at his house, but Dr. Conrad Murray insisted they take him to the hospital. And they say they didn't recognize Jackson -- one said the victim "just looked like a frail, old, sickly man."

A second police search days after Jackson's death turned up a secret stash of drugs, including some of the anesthesia Propofol, in the closet of the guest room where Murray was staying. Police say Murray himself told them about the hidden drugs, which they failed to find on their first search of the house.

Remember Octomom? At the age of seven months, Nadya Suleman's 7-month-old octuplets and their siblings are going to work. Each of her 14 children will be earning about $250 per day when a British production company begins filming its reality show. Just the other day, Saint-Tropez squeeze Hailey Glassman, 22, was gushing about how she fell for the irresistible hunk while he was staying at her parents' house, nursing a broken heart after Kate dumped him. Now he's dating somebody else -- Kate Major, 26, who was a reporter for the tabloid Star until she met the irresistible Jon and quit her job, citing a "conflict of interest." "That's news to me," Hailey told People. Kate Major says she was swept off her feet by Jon's alleged but difficult-to-perceive charm. "I went to do a story on Jon and ended up falling for him." But Hailey said tearfully, "I still love Jon and Jon loves me."

The estate of Michael Jackson has asked the court to provide an allowance for the singer's three children, saying there is an "urgent need" to ensure their needs are met. Jackson's mother Katherine, who has temporary custody of Paris Michael, Prince Michael and Prince Michael II, also was supported by Jackson and "has no independent means of support" other than her "extremely modest" Social Security benefits, according to the request.

A mysterious young man who was brought up and seated in the front row next to Jackson's three children at his funeral is a Norwegian rapper who brother Jermaine says would be welcomed into the family if he turns out to be Michael's secret son, born after a one-night-stand with a fan. Omer Bhatti was introduced to and spent time with Jackson as a child and is now seeking DNA tests to determine whether Jackson could be his father. "If Omer's his son, he's his son,' Jermaine said. "We won't deny it. ... I can't clearly say if he is Michael's, but I saw this kid around him."

TMZ.com has a list of items seized this week from the office of the Dr. Conrad Murray, who was with Michael Jackson when he died. Police took a vial of a weight-loss drug, another of a muscle relaxant, Rolodex cards, a photo of Murray, public storage reciepts and some emails.

Jude Law may face charges after he apparently struck a female photographer in the face when she took photos of him leaving a central London restaurant. Photos show him looking angry as she reels from the blow, although his spokesman said it was an accident. "It was really loud --- there was a massive thud and my face is still stinging today," said photographer Harsha Gopal. "It was deliberate -- you could see it in his face. Maybe he didn't realize he was hitting a girl, but he could at least apologize."

Kelis Rogers has a new baby son and some $55,000 in child and spousal support every month from estranged husband Nas. Knight Jones was born Wednesday, more than two days after Kelis began labor. Her sister and mother were in the delivery room with her, but Nas was turned away because he arrived drunk. He did get to see his son later.
Los Angeles police are trying to build a manslaughter case in the death of Michael Jackson, according to People. Police served a search warrant on the office of Dr. Conrad Murray in Houston where they were collecting documents, computer hard drives and other items.
"The search warrant authorized law enforcement to search for and seize
items, including documents, they believed constituted evidence of the
offense of manslaughter," Murray's lawyer Ed Chernoff said in a statement.
Murray was the cardiologist hired by Jackson as his 'personal physician' for the London concerts he was planning. It has been speculated that Murray may have been the one to ply the lethal cocktail of drugs believed to have caused Jackson's death.

Also receiving a subpoena yesterday was former Jackson nurse/nutritionist Cherilyn Lee, who worked for Jackson for several months. Lee has been vocal in the press about witnessing Jackson's use of the anesthetic propofol. She insists that she never supplied any medication, but has said in interviews that Jackson begged her for certain drugs. Lee told E! News: "[Jackson] didn't take any medications from me, I'm just nutritional. ... When it switched over to medication, especially
that particular medication, I told him -- I only deal with nutrition."

Michael Jackson's death certificate has been accessed -- unauthorized -- more than 300 times by Los Angeles city employees accessing the coroner's computer system. An investigattion is underway to determine who has been reading the confidential records, and how the computer system has been violated so easily. While no laws have technically been broken, it is certainly an unethical practice, and staffers have again been warned to keep their eyes on documents only related to cases on which they are working.

TMZ says that their sources are reporting that Rebbie Jackson is expected to raise Jackson's three children, even if grandmother Katherine Jackson gains full custody. Rebbie, 59, shares the same Encino home with Katherine, and all of the Jackson family is said to be in agreement that she should be the one to raise the children.

Actress Jamie Lee Curtis has written a blog entry where she's admitted a painkiller addiction in her past. Curtis was discussing the possibility that painkillers were involved in Michael Jackson's death, saying: "I too found painkillers after a routine cosmetic surgical procedure and I too became addicted. ... My recovery from drug addiction is the single greatest accomplishment
of my life. ... But it takes work -- hard, painful work."

On the same evening "Inside Edition" aired footage of an intoxicated Hailey Glassman smoking from a bong, struggling to put her pants on and falling to the floor repeatedly, the precocious 22-year-old told People that her romance with dad-of-eight Jon Gosselin surprised her and happened while Jon was staying with her parents in New York City in the days after he left wife Kate. "He was so strong," Glassman told People, which said she "gushes" over her new beau. She says they are not engaged, but they are having a great time; "We're always laughing and joking," playing pool and ping pong, and enjoying his cooking. How about her parents, including her surgeon father, who got to know the family when he did Kate's tummy tuck? "They love him. They think of him as part of the family."

Katherine Heigl didn't shy away from complaining about her first day back on the set of "Grey's Anatomy." In a visit to David Letterman's show, she said, "I'm going to keep saying this because I hope it embarrasses them -- a 17-hour day, which I think is cruel and mean." She said she liked seeing her co-stars but misses pal T.R. Knight, who has left the show. Heigl was coy about the future for her character, Izzy, but Letterman said, "I'm guessing if you're working 17 hours, that means you're not dead."

Former "O.C." actress Mischa Barton remains hospitalized on a psychiatric hold in Cedars-Sinai Hospital, where she was admitted last week and might be losing her spot on the new CW show "Beautiful Life." After a screaming argument inside Samantha Ronson's house, the DJ tossed the clothes of on-again, off-again girlfriend Lindsay Lohan into the street. The two clashed after Ronson returned from dinner with Drea DeMatteo. Ronson denied being romantically involved with De Matteo, saying, "she's one of my best friends." LiLo picked up her clothes and drove away.

Kiefer Sutherland won't have to worry about being charged in that reported headbutting of Jack McCollough back in May. The Manhattan District Attorney's office has decided that whatever happened didn't meet the level required to be a crime. Once again, Brooke Shields finds herself in the center of some weirdness -- Sutherland reportedly confronted McCollough, a designer, after Shields was jostled in the crowd after the Met Costume Institute Gala. McCollough claimed he suffered a broken nose.
