Morning Links: Debbie Rowe on wanting custody of Jackson kids: 'Hell, no'
"Bombshell emails" from Michael Jackson's ex-wife Debbie Rowe reveal that she doesn't want custody of her two kids but was concerned about her public perception as "a woman who gave away her kids and just forgot about them," according to the New York Post. In a July 5 email to her friend Rebecca White, Rowe wrote, "Do I want the kids? Hell no. Does it look good for me to ask for them? Absolutely." White told the New York Post, "There's definitely going to be a settlement that's going to come out of this." But her attorney says reports that Rowe gave up her parental rights in exchange for a $4 million payoff are incorrect. "There has been no agreement reached between Ms. Rowe and the Jacksons," lawyer Eric George said. "Ms. Rowe has not and will not give up her parental rights. ... And Ms. Rowe has not accepted and will not accept any additional financial consideration beyond the spousal support she and Michael personally agreed to several years ago."
In other Jackson news, Jack Wishna, a Las Vegas businessman who tried to arrange the pop star's comeback concerts in the United States, says every night was a slumber party for the eccentric star and his three children. When the family vacated the mansion Wishna arranged for him, they left the place "a pigsty," and the mattresses were all on the floor in a single room, he claimed, adding that the setup was innocent. "They can play. They can jump up and down. That's Michael," Wishna said. "He was very comfortable in that Romper Room-type environment." Wisha also says Michael refused to see his father Joe, even though Joe waited outside his son's house for hours.
An assistant L.A. coroner showed up at the office of Jackson's dematologist, Dr. Arnold Klein, and said that the doctor (who hasn't exactly denied reports that he is the biological father of Paris and Prince Michael) "is cooperating." Later the same guy, Ed Winter, told TMZ.com that the visit to the office was caused by Klein's lack of cooperation in fully providing records. On another front of the investigation, the DEA is also using lot numbers from vials of anesthetic found in Jackson's home to try to trace which of his doctors supplied him with the drug.
When Jon Gosselin decided to ditch domestic life with Kate and their eight, he got as far away as he could from naptimes and diapers. His new girlfriend, Hailey Glassman, 22, has a wild side, friends say. One person who knew her when she studied tourism management at Indiana University, told People.com that Glassman was "one of those crazy party animals," and another friend said she'd danced with a stripper at a party. Glassman also has a minor criminal record for possession of marijuana and illegal possession of alcohol. But at least she has a symmetrical haircut.
The designer who says he is working with Gosselin and Glassman on a line of kids' clothing predicts we'll see designs from the new couple in stores by the end of August. Designer Christian Audigier, who works with the Ed Hardy line, entertained Gosselin and Glassman on his yacht in Saint-Tropez over the weekend. Meanwhile, Kate made a post office run in her Pennsylvania hometown, still wearing her wedding ring.
Kim Cattrall has broken up with her 20-years-younger boyfriend, Canadian restaurant chef Alan Wyse. "They remain friends," says her publicist, who added that the actual break came "a while ago." They were last seen together in public in November. The two had been a couple since 2004 but "realized they were at different points in their lives," a friend said.
David Arquette is spending part of the next few days in a glass box on top of Madison Square Garden in an attempt to raise money to feed families in need. He has an easy chair and a stack of reading material with him, but said after his first session, "I'm hot in the box ... that midday midtown sun was piping!" Arquette is working with Snickers in the Bar Hunger Campaign.
Christian Bale, who lost some 63 pounds to star in "The Machinist" and then added bulk and muscle for "Batman Begins" is gaunt again as he prepares to play a drug-addicted boxer named Dicky Eklund in his next movie, "The Fighter." Eklund's best-known fight was a 1978 bout against Sugar Ray Leonard, who was spotted on the set with Bale and may be making a cameo in the film.
Victoria's Secret supermodel and actress Karolina Kurkova is pregnant, her rep confirms. It will be the first child for Kurkova and her fiance, Archie Drury, an actor who also co-produced 2004's "Voices of Iraq." The pair have been together for a year.

Ms Rowe did not come into that overly notorious Michael Jackson family the way other females did.
Just naming three other women in the present media super overhype alone, Presley, Brooke and Ross already had wealth and wealth-seeking legal firms; whole firms long before Ms Rowe came into the picture.
Ms Rowe, in total ignorance and innocence, became intangled then discarded because the incrediblly wealthy Michael Jackson entourage can do that.
I feel that if justice and compassion prevail in the legal system and the legal system not be influenced by really big money; I hope the legal system intervenes, and does that very soon so that those two little children and their impressionable self-esteems won't have to go through more life wondering about the truth of their mother.
Meanwhile, Ms Debbie Rowe is the undisputed biological mother of the girl and older boy. It isn't possible to know if she is "a good or bad egg" by judging what the media says.
Otherwise, I don't forsee any chance of those two kids and their mom being able to have any sort of normal mother-child relationship.
That littlest boy's biological mother has to remain anonymous inorder to preserve the rights of all families involved in the sperm doners system. Therefore, unless Debbie Rowe wants to keep him included, I wish he could be adopted away from the freak show.
I also wonder if Michael J. Jackson is the actual biological father of any of the three of them.
And i feel that none of those three kids are safe near Joseph Jackson. I wonder if any of the other Jackson parents keep that particular grampy away from their young.
