Morning Links: Jon Gosselin bans TLC crew from shared marital home; Production of "Kate Plus 8" suspended

A few hours after Jon Gosselin banned TLC production crews from the house he co-owns with estranged wife Kate, the network suspended filming of the children for the new show, "Kate Plus 8," which severely limits Jon's role. But Jon's attorney says he's not being spiteful; he wants the show to cut back on filming because "it's been getting in the way of his family, his children are complaining." TLC called the whole event "deeply disappointing" and Jon's "erratic behavior" "grossly inaccurate, without merit and ... clearly opportunistic." Sources say the whole conflict is over money and Jon's freedom to appear on other TV shows, but Jon's new attorney released a statement saying, "Jon is resolved not to allow the TLC Corporate machine to devour his family and promote the monster's best interests over those of his family." Kate, in a statement, says she is "saddened and confused by Jon's public media statements," because Jon "has never expressed any concerns to me about our children being involved in the show and, in fact, is on the record as saying he believes the show benefits our children and was taping on Friday with the kids." Kate added, "It appears that Jon's priority is Jon and his interests. My priority remains our children and their well-being."

The Kanye West tour with Lady Gaga -- called "Fame Kills" -- has been killed. TMZ speculates that the backlash over Kanye's VMAs interruption of Taylor Swift might be a factor, but Ryan Seacrest tweeted Thursday that he suspected that there was trouble with the tour when Lady Gaga canceled an interview on his radio show. The tour was scheduled to come to Buffalo on Dec. 20.

Michael-jackson-mugshot  A copy of the report done during Michael Jackson's autopsy and obtained by the Associated Press shows that the singer was "generally healthy," except for some impaired lung function and arthritis in his fingers and lower spine. The report lists several scars from apparent plastic surgery and many puncture marks in his arms. The report also found a pink tattoo along his lipline, and dark tattoos around his eyes, in his eyebrows and on a bald patch on his scalp, possibly where his head was burned when his hair caught on fire while he was taping a Pepsi commercial. He was also found to be producing sperm. The musical director for Jackson's "This is It" tour says the autopsy shows that Jackson was healthy enough to carry out the planned series of 50 concerts.

The father of Ryan Jenkins, the reality show contestant who killed himself while he was being sought for the murderof his ex-wife, Jasmine Fiore, has hired a private investigator to find the real killer. Dan Jenkins told the Calgary Herald, "All I can say is we knew Ryan and many, many, many people in Calgary knew Ryan, and he was a fine, gentle soul. It is just unfathomable to us that he could be responsible for anything that has been reported," said his father. The Buena Park Police Department, which is investigating the murder, says they will not cooperate with a private investigator, and Jenkins remains the only suspect.

Randy and Evi Quaid have written a check-- apparently a legit one -- for the remaining $5,000 they owed the San Ysidro Ranch, but they still face charges of burglary, conspiracy and defrauding an innkeeper for skipping out on the original $10,000 bill at the luxury hotel.

Keith Urban, who spends part of many of his concerts walking through the crowds of thrilled fans, says his guitar and his fleet feet keep him from being fondled. That's the good thing about having a guitar in front of you." Plus, he adds, "we're moving at a pretty good clip." Still, he told the London (Ont.) Free Press, "It can get a little hairy sometimes. I've had a few injuries, but hey, it's rock 'n' roll."
