Morning Links: Balloon Boy case turned over to District Attorney

Heenes The Balloon Boy case has been officially turned over to the district attorney. The Larimer County Sheriff's investigators have finished their investigation and have turned the case against the Heene family over to the Larimer County D.A. who could file charges against parents Richard and Mayumi Heene any day.

The D.A.'s office, meanwhile, has said that they have "requested additional information and will be making a charging decision as soon as we have had an opportunity to complete a careful review and analysis of this case."

Over the weekend, it was revealed that Falcon Heene's mother, Mayumi, confessed to investigators that it all was a hoax "to make the Heene family more marketable for future media interest." Mayumi also told investigators that she and husband Richard told their children to lie to police, and that the balloon was built expressly for this stunt.

The Heene parents could be charged with contributing to the delinquency of a minor, attempting to influence a public servant and conspiracy.

It was Taylor times two last night at the Los Angeles Kings hockey game. Country songstress Taylor Swift was spotted out with Twighlight teen hunk Taylor Lautner. The two are starring together in a film called "Valentine's Day." They were spotted later in the lobby of a Beverly Hills hotel, where Swift was engaging the paparazzi while Lautner laid low in a hoody.
