Morning Links: Jon & Kate Gosselin marriage may be dissolved by year's end
The marriage between Jon and Kate Gosselin is just about over, after a weekend mediation hearing in which Jon conceded physical custody of the children to Kate. The arbitration went so well between the Gosselins that today's hearing was no longer necessary.
The meeting was termed "successful and productive" and many believe that the rocky marriage will completely dissolved by year's end. The hearing settled custody, child support and division of joint assets.
"It was a positive move in the right direction for us to bring them together to the mediation table. ... There were a couple of very emotional moments, but in the end it all came together and concluded on a happy note," Kate's lawyer Mark Heller said.
Witnesses say that Jon showed up with a bouquet of long-stem roses, as a peace offering, but that Kate refused them. But of the results of the hearing, Heller said that Jon was "very relieved."
Courteney Cox Arquette's new show has temporarily shut down production while its star is dealing with a private family issue. The ABC network declined to give any further details as to the circumstances behind the suspension of production.

Friday afternoon, a bus from Miley Cyrus' tour over-turned on a Virginia highway on its way to North Carolina, killing the driver. The bus, which belonged to the lighting crew, was one of a four bus caravan traveling ahead of the singer. Cyrus was in Nashville at the time of the crash, spending some time at home before joining her crew yesterday in Greensboro. The cause of the crash is still under investigation, but the state police have ruled out the driver falling asleep or weather conditions. They speculate a medical condition may have caused the driver to allow the bus to drift and ultimately over-turn.

RadarOnline says that Dr. Conrad Murray, the doc linked to Michael Jackson's death, asked members of his church to pray for him during yesterday's worship. "He said he wanted to assure them he was doing fine, and he asked for their prayers for the journey he has ahead," a source told the site.
On Friday, court documents were released, revealing that Murray has positively been linked to a shipment of propofol sent to the mansion where Jackson was residing at the time of his death.
TMZ, meanwhile, says that Murray will resume treating patients at his Houston clinic office today.
