A smile to start the weekend: Celebrities, kids and animals can't avoid the photobomb!

Photobombs, the hilarious snapshots that are ruined, intentionally or accidentally, by someone or something that intrudes into the frame, are everywhere. Even celebs are photobombing. Here's Jake Gyllenhaal hijacking the background of a photo of Ang Lee and .. is that Uma Thurman?

Jake-gyllenhaal-preoscar-2

All you can see are Jake's crazy eyes! Thesuperficial.com explains that Jake got a little .. well, "completely wasted" at a pre-Oscar party and ruined all of Ang Lee's photos.

But you certainly don't have to be famous to do a hilarious photobomb ... Just ask this guy.

Photobomb2

This image, and many many more, some not safe for work, can be seen on Thisisphotobomb.com. The Huffington Post has compiled a selection of the best photobombs, including those carried out by little kids, including this classic:

Kidphotobimb

Animals can bomb photos too:

Catphotobomb

And finally ... to prove that photobombing is sometimes irresistable, we'll end with a Beatle!

Morning Links: Brittany Murphy's husband accuses studio of killing star; Warner Bros. calls charge 'defamatory'

Monjack and murphy The official cause of Brittany Murphy's death has not been released yet, but her husband, Simon Monjack, says Warner Brothers caused her Dec. 20 death by firing her, and he plans to file a wrongful-death suit against the studio. Monjack told the Daily Beast, “They killed her." Monjack and Brittany’s mother, Sharon, said they believe the star died of a heart attack from the stress caused by Warner Brother’s canceling of a contract to work on "Happy Feet 2," two weeks before she died. "She was devastated," Monjack said. The studio released a statement denouncing the charges. "Any claim that Warner Bros. Pictures was somehow responsible for Brittany Murphy's tragic death is demonstrably false, reprehensible and defamatory," it said. "Despite press reports to the contrary, Warner Bros. Pictures and Ms. Murphy never entered into any deal for 'Happy Feet 2' and thus, there was no contract to cancel."

In a wide-ranging interview with Oprah Winfrey Thursday afternoon, Jay Leno admitted that being asked six years ago to step aside so Conan O'Brien could take over the "Tonight Show" "broke my heart." "I was devastated," he said, and he found the move "pretty shocking." To explain the shakeup, Leno said he claimed on the air that he planned to retire. "I told a little white lie on the air," he said. "It made it easier that way." On another topic, Leno said that he was taken aback when Jimmy Kimmel slammed him while he was a video guest on Leno's show. "I got sucker-punched," he said. Leno said he could have edited the interview, "but I said, ‘No. Put it out there. I walked into it.'" He said when you get hit, "You get right up again. You don't whine and complain."

Samantha Harris, co-host of "Dancing With the Stars" since 2006, won't be doing ballroom duty when the ABC show returns for its 10th season March 22. Harris says she is leaving "Dancing" to concentrate on her expanding correspondent duties at "The Insider," but deciding to leave wasn’t easy. It "could not have been more of a dream job,” she says. “I loved every single second of it and I’ve made lifelong friends at the show.” Dancing executive producer Conrad Green says he has begun the search to fill the job. "Samantha has been a brilliant part of [DWTS] and we wish her the best of luck on The Insider," he said. Co-host Tom Bergeron says he will miss Harris, but "I’m hoping this frees her up for us to have her as a contestant."

Nancy Grace didn't want to give a deposition on tape in connection with a wrongful-death lawsuit against her, but she was ordered to -- even though she was sick with a cold. The parents of Melinda Duckett, whose 2-year-old son remains missing, have sued Grace, saying she pushed Duckett to suicide by badgering her and accusing her of hiding information from police during an interview for her cable TV show. Duckett, 21, shot herself shortly before the interview aired.

James first posted the loss on Twitter and has offered a $2,000 reward for her return. A female friend of James has stepped forward to offer her own reward -- she says she'll go on a date with the person who returns the dog.

Several child-abuse prevention organizations have sent out mailings to schools and people who live around Sun Life Stadium in Miami warning that the area is about to be visited by a sex offender -- Pete Townshend of The Who, who will perform at the Super Bowl halftime show. Townshend became a registered sex offender after being arrested in 2003 in a British child-porn sting. One of the postcards says his "known associates" are the NFL and the Bridgestone Tire Co. and adds that "he will be at large in Miami on Feb. 7th when he arrives to perform at the Super Bowl with his musical group The Who."

Two members of the ensemble cast of MTV's "Jersey Shore" have agreed to settle for $10,000 per episode, but the others are said to be holding out for more, TMZ reports. Ronnie and J-WOWW have accepted MTV's offer, but still unsigned are stars Snooki, The Situation and DJ Paulie D. An MTV source says that the rest of the cast has been given until close of business today to accept the offer or MTV replaces them. The original deadline was Monday night, but the source says there will be no more extensions. Vinny Guadagnino, for one, has a backup plan -- he says he took the law school admission test. "My score was decent," he said. "I had a plan that if my score was really well [sic], then I might of just went to Yale or Harvard ... But it was just mediocre. I can get into law school," he said, calling law school "always on the back burner."

Morning Links: Jay Leno tells his side to Oprah; Conan O'Brien sells pilot to NBC

Conan Jay Jay Leno will appear on Oprah later today, and tells his side of the story in the late night fiasco at NBC. Leno tells Winfrey that he felt stung by the jokes made by Conan O'Brien as his reign on "The Tonight Show" was ending, but says that they were jokes and were okay with him. He also says that he has not yet spoken to O'Brien about the situation, and wants to wait for things to "cool down" before calling O'Brien.

Meanwhile O'Brien doesn't seem to be letting his ouster get in the way of business. NBC has announced that it has picked up a pilot from O'Brien's production company. The drama series involves a Supreme Court justice who leaves the bench to start his own law practice. Despite leaving "Tonight," O'Brien will continue his development deal with the network.

Morning Links: Beauty queen who accused David Copperfield of rape is charged with prostitution

Laceycarroll The beauty queen who accused David Copperfield of sexually assaulting her is facing charges of her own. Lacey Carroll, who accused Copperfield of raping her on his private island in 2007, has been indicted on charges of making a false statement to a public servant and prostitution. The Bellevue City Prosecutor's Office in Washington filed charges against her in connection with a Dec. 2, 2009, incident in which she went to a hotel room with a man she knew from the bar where she worked. In the room, he said she told him, "Put $2,000 in my purse and you can have it all." The man says when he refused to fork over the money, she told police he had forced himself upon her. She later refused to cooperate with police because she felt the claim against the man would "tarnish [her] other case" against Copperfield. Copperfield's attorney, Patty Eakes, said, "These developments vindicate Mr. Copperfield and confirm what he has said all along -- this woman tried to extort money from him by making a false claim." Carroll was first runner-up in the 2010 Miss Washington USA pageant.

Ellen DeGeneres is on a tight schedule, taping both her talk show and "American Idol" on some days. So when she taped her show early and arrived on set of Idol for the first day of the Hollywood rounds, she was reportedly furious when Simon Cowell showed up 90 minutes late. A source told Deadline.com, "Here it was the first day of taping of the Hollywood shows, and Ellen was there waiting for Simon to show up. Ellen's new to the gig and she's very organized and she made a commitment to take this on, and now she's asking herself, 'What did I get myself into?' She called Simon Cowell a prima donna. So right from the start, the chemistry isn't great."

• • •

The web site Deadline.com also reports that the first choice of "American Idol" to succeed Cowell is former Sony music chief Tommy Mottola, Mariah Carey's controlling ex-husband who was also the controversial boss of Michael Jackson and George Michael. But sources say Cowell has also designated Mottola as first choice to be a judge on his new American "X Factor" show. Idol's second choice is said to be Guy Oseary, Madonna's longtime business partner who organized both her top-grossing 2006 Confessions Tour and 2008 Sticky & Sweet Tour.

Denise Richards said the situation between her ex-husband Charlie Sheen and his current wife, Brooke Mueller, is "sad," but may shed light on the battles she had with Sheen during and after their marriage. "Perhaps people can understand what I went through," she said, when Sheen pushed and shoved her during their marriage. Richards says she and Sheen are now "in a great place" after their work with a mediator. In an appearance Tuesday on the Oprah Winfrey Show, she says she and Sheen had an early New Year's Eve dinner together, along with her father. The pair have two daughters, Sam, 5, and Lola, 4. Richards says she decided not to tell their daughters on Christmas that their dad's phone call came from jail in Aspen, Colo., after an altercation with his wife, but Richards eventually had to tell them when a kindergarten classmate asked Sam if her dad was still in jail.

Brooke Mueller was released from a Los Angeles hospital Monday after being treated for an infection and pneumonia following oral surgery to remove wisdom teeth. Her lawyer, Yale Galanter, told TMZ his client is "OK, not great ... I'm still very concerned about her." He says she still has fluid in her lungs from the pneumonia. Brooke's mother, Moira Fiore, said she is looking for a spa where Mueller can get therapy and recover from the stress that is believed to have compromised her body's ability to fight infection. The couple's twin sons, Max and Bob, are staying with Sheen while she recovers. The order of protection that keeps Sheen away from Mueller, which was suspended so he could visit her in the hospital, has been reinstated, People says. The two will appear in court on Feb. 8, when the order may be modified.

Morning Links: Rumors of Angelina Jolie infidelity swirl; alleged other man denies

Angelia Jolie InTouch Weekly is spreading the rumor that Angelina Jolie cheated on Brad Pitt with a dialect coach she was working with on a new film. A former housekeeper of a New York hotel tells the tabloid that she visited the room many times and one morning discovered a room that appeared to have been a love nest the night before. "The room was a disaster," she explains. "There was water all over the bathroom and empty vodka bottles everywhere. Every towel had been used. And over five dozen cattleya orchids were scattered around the room, and there were the tops of the flowers in the tub, with candles." The bedroom was even more of an eye opener.

The InTouch report doesn't name names, but one man -- Howard Samuelsohn -- tells E! News, however,  that those reports couldn't be further than the truth. Samuelsohn says that he was contacted by InTouch and asked about the nature of their relationship. "I said, 'Yes, I know her professionally. She's very nice.'...And then I immediately became the guy who slept with Angelina Jolie." Samuelsohn said that he worked with a Polish actor on his English for the movie "Salt," and that he did not spend any time with Jolie, whose character speaks Russian in the film.

Morning Links: Sources close to Brad and Angelina deny British reports that they are separating

Brad and angelinaAre Brad and Angelina planning to break up their multi-child home? Although reports that the high-powered celebrity pair are splitting have been rampant in British newspapers, over here  sources close to the family are vehemently denying the reports. "Everything is fine" with the couple, a source tells People, while another calls the reports "totally false" and "a source -- who should know" tells TMZ, "It's B.S." The British reports list everything from the financial settlement -- an equal split -- to custody arrangements -- joint custody of all six of the kids, with them living mainly with Angelina. Although sources say the pair had a quiet dinner in early January, they have not been seen together in public since; Pitt appeared solo at the "Hope for Haiti Now" telethon Friday night and the pair have not attended the Critics Choice, Golden Globes or Screen Actors Guild Awards, although Pitt's film, "Inglourious Basterds" has been nominated and won awards.

Andy dick mugshot Comedian Andy Dick was arrested in Huntington, W.Va., Saturday morning on two felony counts of first-degree sexual abuse after police say he "unexpectedly and without invitation" grabbed the genitals of two men in a bar called Rum Runners. The first man was a fellow patron who was speaking with Dick when he was grabbed and "repeatedly groped"; the second was a security guard who asked Dick to put on a wristband, and says, "You could tell he was really out of it. He was on something." A third patron, Jonathan Kraft, who photos show was also the target of Dick's attention, says he just brushed it off, telling Dick, "I'm not down with that." Kraft says arresting Dick was "stupid," saying, "He's nationally known as a weird guy." Dick, who faces up to five years in prison if convicted, was bailed out by the manager of the Funny Bone comedy club in Huntington and went on stage as scheduled Saturday night. The comedian is currently on probation after he pleaded guilty to battery for pulling down the top of a 17-year-old girl in 2008.

Gary Coleman was arrested on a warrant charging him with one count of domestic assault Sunday afternoon in Santaquin, Utah, TMZ is reporting. Police would not release the identity of the victim, but Coleman and his wife Shannon Price have had domestic issues since they married in August 2007. Coleman was being held on $1,725 bail on the misdemeanor charge. It hasn't been a good year for Coleman -- he was hospitalized briefly on Jan. 6 after apparently suffering a seizure. He has had two failed kidney transplants and undergoes dialysis. He is also battling producers of the movie, "Midgets vs. Mascots," in which he is briefly exposed by a robe that flapped open. The producers say they have signed contracts permitting them to use the nude footage. And in mid-January, his attorney announced that Coleman and his wife settled a lawsuit filed by a man who said Coleman struck him with his truck in the parking lot of a bowling alley. The terms of the settlement were not announced.

They haven't responded to a second offer of $10,000 an episode, sources say. But TMZ points out that some cast members of "The Hills" are paid more than $100,000 an episode. The Jersey Shore kids are so popular that a Montclair, N.J. club where Vinnie and Jenni "J-WOWW" Farley appeared this weekend was dangerously packed until police closed it down and ushered everybody out. Morning Links: Heidi Montag's mother said to be 'horrified' by daughter's extensive plastic surgery

Heidi-montag-240 Heidi Montag's mother is said to be "horrified" at the 10 plastic surgeries her 23-year-old daughter had on one day in November and plans to confront Heidi when the star of "The Hills" returns home soon. A source close to the family says Darlene Egelhoff "is horrified and having a total breakdown. She can't wait to confront Heidi when she goes home." Montag told People, "I still can't believe I'm 23 and mom is reacting this way. I'm nervous to go home and face her – especially with cameras rolling." The drama will be filmed and shown next season on the MTV hit. Reached by RadarOnline at his Colorado home, Montag's father, Bill, said only, "Obviously, every parent has concerns. ... I have promised Heidi that I will not openly speak about the situation." But "Celebrity Rehab" host Dr. Drew Pinsky said what a lot of people are thinking -- that Montag's surgeries are a sign of "significant emotional issues." Montag recently unveiled her new look after the surgery, which included a mini brow lift, Botox, a nose job revision, fat injections in her cheeks, nasolabial folds and lips, chin and ear reductions, replacement of her breast implants with larger ones, liposuction on her neck, waist, hips and inner and outer thighs, and buttocks augmentation. Pinsky told RadarOnline that the surgeries are "outlandish. I can’t believe a physician would put somebody through that. ... Heidi clearly has body image issues, she clearly has significant  emotional – let’s call them issues – issues about self worth, issues about emotional regulation."

Janice_dickinson Former supermodel and reality TV judge Janice Dickinson, 54, who has undergone her share of plastic surgery, says people's ignorance about plastic surgery is causing the criticism of Dr. Frank Ryan, who performed the surgeries. "People are ignorant when then talk about this," Dickinson told RadarOnline. "They don't understand that things like Botox, ear pinning and fat injections are not really plastic surgery procedures, but Dr. Ryan had to list them in the interest of disclosure." Dickinson, left, who is also a patient of Dr. Ryan, says, "The reason I became a supermodel was because of my genetics, I was lucky, I was born that way. To be a great beauty you need symmetry, and that was something that she, and Dr. Ryan, obviously thought she was lacking.  ... Heidi was a plain dowdy girl before the surgeries. She's a rural mountain girl that wasn't blessed with great genes." But surprisingly, Dickinson isn't a fan of the outcome of Heidi's surgery: "I think the surgery aged her, actually," she said. "She looked younger without it, and she looked more attractive."

According to TMZ, the network doesn't want to shuffle a temporary host in and out for the few weeks between the end of Conan's run and the beginning of the Winter Olympics, when the show was scheduled to go on hiatus. NBC released a statement Thursday afternoon saying that Conan would be free to "pursue other opportunities after Sept. 1, 2010."

The FBI is now investigating a complaint by actor Jon Cryer -- who stars with Charlie Sheen in "Two and a Half Men" --  that he has been threatened by a hitman, possibly in connection with a bitter custody fight with his ex-wife. Cryer filed a complaint last week with local police about the situation, and security was tightened on the set of the show. An audience was not permitted in for the episodes taped last Friday and today, but show staffers say that was done for creative, not security, reasons. An attorney for Cryer's ex, Sarah Trigger, says, "There's no reason in the world why Sarah would do anything like that." Trigger and Cryer were married from 1999 to 2004 and have one child, Charlie Austin. Trigger was charged in May with felony child abuse after her younger son with her estranged current husband was found to have bruises on his neck.

A lawsuit filed by a former maid against Victoria Principal has been settled, and although the terms are confidential, the settlement papers include a written apology from the former maid, Maribel Banegas. In the suit, Banegas claimed Principal pointed a gun at her in Principal's house on Dec. 26, 2008, and threatened to kill her. Principal's countersuit claimed the maid injured Principal's dog and that the star pulled the gun out of fear. The apology letter said, "I can now understand why you felt that I was threatening to you, which, in turn, led you to defend yourself," and apologized for "any unintentional injury to your little dog, Mei-ling. It was never my intention to harm her and I have prayed for her full recovery."
