Are Brad and Angelina planning to break up their multi-child home? Although reports that the high-powered celebrity pair are splitting have been rampant in British newspapers, over here sources close to the family are vehemently denying the reports. "Everything is fine" with the couple, a source tells People, while another calls the reports "totally false" and "a source -- who should know" tells TMZ, "It's B.S." The British reports list everything from the financial settlement -- an equal split -- to custody arrangements -- joint custody of all six of the kids, with them living mainly with Angelina. Although sources say the pair had a quiet dinner in early January, they have not been seen together in public since; Pitt appeared solo at the "Hope for Haiti Now" telethon Friday night and the pair have not attended the Critics Choice, Golden Globes or Screen Actors
Guild Awards, although Pitt's film, "Inglourious Basterds" has been nominated and won awards.
Comedian Andy Dick was arrested in Huntington, W.Va., Saturday
morning on two felony counts of first-degree sexual abuse after police say he "unexpectedly and without invitation" grabbed the genitals of two men in a bar called Rum Runners. The first man was a fellow patron who was speaking with Dick when he was grabbed and "repeatedly groped"; the second was a security guard who asked Dick to put on a wristband, and says, "You could tell he was really out of it. He was on something." A third patron, Jonathan Kraft, who photos show was also the target of Dick's attention, says he just brushed it off, telling Dick, "I'm not down with that." Kraft says arresting Dick was "stupid," saying, "He's nationally known as a weird guy." Dick, who faces up to five years in prison if convicted, was bailed out by the manager of the Funny Bone comedy club in Huntington and went on stage as scheduled Saturday night. The comedian is currently on probation after he pleaded guilty to battery for pulling down the top of a 17-year-old girl in 2008.
Gary Coleman was arrested on a warrant charging him with one count of domestic assault Sunday afternoon in Santaquin, Utah, TMZ is reporting. Police would not release the identity of the victim, but Coleman and his wife Shannon Price have had domestic issues since they married in August 2007. Coleman was being held on $1,725 bail on the misdemeanor charge. It hasn't been a good year for Coleman -- he was hospitalized briefly on Jan. 6 after apparently suffering a seizure. He has had two failed kidney transplants and undergoes dialysis. He is also battling producers of the movie, "Midgets vs. Mascots," in which he is briefly exposed by a robe that flapped open. The producers say they have signed contracts permitting them to use the nude footage. And in mid-January, his attorney announced that Coleman and his wife settled a lawsuit filed by a man who said Coleman struck him with his truck in the parking lot of a bowling alley. The terms of the settlement were not announced.
The cast members of MTV's breakout hit "Jersey Shore" have rejected MTV's salary offer for a second season and say they will bargain as a group for the same amount for each member of the ensemble. Snooki, Pauly D, "The Situation" and the other five rejected an offer of a $10,000 signing bonus and $5,000 an episode for each of them. They haven't responded to a second offer of $10,000 an episode, sources say. But TMZ points out that some cast members of "The Hills" are paid more than $100,000 an episode. The Jersey Shore kids are so popular that a Montclair, N.J. club where Vinnie and Jenni "J-WOWW" Farley appeared this weekend was dangerously packed until police closed it down and ushered everybody out. The two unexpected stars had to hide in a closet so the throng would leave.
Jon Gosselin has made his first public appearances with his new girlfriend, Morgan Christie, at the Sundance Film Festival in Park City, Utah, where Christie's parents live. Gosselin was spotted "raiding the gift lounges," says EOnline, strolling around texting and drinking beer in between snowboard runs. He was overheard telling a gift provider, "Park City is my home now," and telling another that he'd bought a house in the region. He and Christie have been dating since November, so that's more important than those eight little ones back in Pennsylvania who call him Daddy, right?
Michael C. Hall, who collected a Screen Actors Guild Award Saturday night to go with the Golden Globe he won a week earlier, says the awards have given him "a shock of positive energy" while he battles Hodgkin's lymphoma. Hall, who wore a knitted cap to both awards ceremonies, says he only announced his illness because its effects would be visible at the shows. But he says, after announcing his illness, "I've heard from people I would not have heard from otherwise." Now, he says, "I'm two-thirds of the way through this treatment that already has this thing in remission. ... It's nice in the homestretch to have this kind of shock of positive energy. It's a celebration."
