Sandra Bullock has revealed to People magazine that she has adopted a 3-month-old son named Louis and plans to raise him as a single parent. "He's just perfect, I can't even describe him any other way," Bullock said about Louis Bardo Bullock. "It's like he's always been a part of our lives." Bullock, 45, and husband Jesse James, 41, began the adoption process four years ago, and Louis joined the family in January, but they decided to keep the news secret until after the Oscars. Just 10 days after Bullock's March 7 Oscar triumph, Bullock and James separated following reports that James has had affairs with several women. Bullock now says she is divorcing James and plans to finalize the adoption as a single parent. Until the adoption, Bullock had no children, but was an active stepmother to James' children, Sunny, 6, Jesse Jr., 12, and Chandler, 15.

A spokesman for Bret Michaels revealed on the rocker's Facebook page that he's facing a new challenge. Tests have found that the brain hemorrhage Michaels suffered has caused hyponatremia, a lack of sodium in the body that causes seizures. In the post, his spokesman didn't say whether Michaels had suffered any seizures as a result. "Michaels remains under 24-hour observation in the ICU and is in positive spirits. He is responding well to tests and treatments," his rep says. "Even though today was a minor setback, doctors remain hopeful for a full recovery." In addition to the hemorrhage, Michaels is also recovering from an emergency appendectomy, which was complicated by his lifelong Type 1 diabetes. "He will remain monitored closely by his medical team to make sure no complications occur from the diabetes," the reps say, adding that doctors are "hopeful that Bret will gradually improve as the blood surrounding the brain dissolves and is reabsorbed into his system, which can be a very painful recovery and take several weeks to months."

The woman who was married to Tito Ortiz or nearly 10 years says he would "never hurt a female." Kristen Ortiz says Tito Ortiz, who was arrested for felony domestic violence Monday after girlfriend Jenna Jameson was injured, says her ex is an "amazing person, amazing father and an amazing human being." She says there was no violence in their marriage, which ended in divorce in 2005. Meanwhile, Jameson, who first said Ortiz did not beat her up, a few hours later told TMZ that after she "said something very hurtful to his ego" during an argument, Ortiz grabbed her and "threw me into the bathtub and tore two ligaments in my shoulder." Ortiz's attorney, Chip Matthews, says the pair were arguing over her OxyContin addiction and that Jameson fell and hurt herself while she was drugged. Matthews also strongly denies that Ortiz struck Jameson, saying, "He did not put his hands on her, he did not hit her, he did not do anything to her." Jameson says she is not a drug abuser and calls the allegation "completely false" and "the last nail in the coffin" for their relationship. The pair have twin sons, Jesse Jameson Ortiz and Journey Jette Ortiz, who turned 1 year old in March. The twins are reportedly being cared for by Jameson's father.

A car driven by actor Jason Alexander struck a 14-year-old bicyclist Tuesday morning in Los Angeles, but unlike his "Seinfeld" character, George Costanza, Alexander took responsibility. Costanza stood by while police and paramedics arrived to evaluate the teen, who suffered a cut on his head and some bruises. Alexander's publicist said that the actor was grateful the boy wasn't badly injured. Alexander was not charged at the scene, and after investigation, police said he was not at fault.

Hugh Hefner has donated the final $900,000 needed to preserve 138 acres behind the "Hollywood" sign, which has become an iconic landmark in the hills above the city. The land on Mount Lee where the sign is located, which was once owned by Howard Hughes, was being eyed for luxury mansions. "It would have been a real shame after having restored it if it wound up sold," Hefner told People. "It's become something iconic and represents not only the town but represents Hollywood dreams, and I think that's something worth preserving." A nonprofit land-conservation group was given the chance to buy the land for $12.5 million, but as the April 30 deadline approaches, the group was nearly $1 million short -- until Hef stepped in.
