Morning Links: Other woman apologizes to Sandra Bullock; blames Jesse James

MIchelle McGee Michelle "Bombshell" McGee is apologizing to Sandra Bullock for her involvement in the sex scandal that has ruined her marriage, but all the blame is on Jesse James. McGee told an Australian talk show, "I know what she's going through. She must be hurt, devastated, upset, embarrassed. I want to give her a heartfelt apology. I'm sorry for her embarrassment and her pain — I do feel really bad about it. ... Sandra, I'm sorry for your embarrassment. I'm sorry all this is public. I'm sorry for everything."

But even in her apology she deflects blame to James, "I feel like I was duped just as much as Sandra was. I feel like I was lied to just as much as she was. If Jesse was upfront with me in the beginning, we wouldn't be in this situation... I wish he was just upfront and honest in the beginning because I wouldn't have been with him if he was just honest in the beginning."

McGee also tries to clear up misconceptions that she is a Nazi, white supremacist or racist."I'm going to try to redeem my reputation. My reputation has been tarnished especially with the Nazi and white supremacist stuff. It's very, very hurtful to hear those things over a silly photo shoot." She also says that the Nazi costume she was photographed wearing belonged to the photographer, not her.

Conan O'Brien shocked the television world by jumping to basic cable's TBS to relaunch his talk show, instead of the long-assumed deal with FOX. After months of negotiations with FOX, O'Brien entered negotiations with TBS at the urging of George Lopez, who also has a talk show on TBS. Lopez said, "I want to say that I am completely 100 percent onboard with this move. I talked to Conan on Wednesday, I talked to him last night, and I said, 'I welcome you into my deep, loving embrace.'" Variety reports that contract negotiations were stalling with FOX due to local affiliates that seemed unwilling to dump their late night comedy re-runs for O'Brien's show.

Michaels -- who thought he was just battling the flu -- was set to perform in San Antonio, TX, but the discomfort became too unbearable to go on stage.
