Morning Links: Former bodyguard claims he saw Britney Spears abuse her sons

A former bodyguard for Britney Spears has gone to Child Protective Services in California with accusations that he saw her beat one of her young sons with a belt and that she has fed both her boys food to which they are allergic, making them ill. The British newspaper The Sun reports that A-list bodyguard Fernando Flores says Spears demanded his belt and then used it to strike one of her sons, either Sean Preston, now 4, or Jayden James, now 3. The incident took place in March or April, he says. Fernandes says he was forced to quit over the singer's erratic behavior, which he says included sexually harassing him by walking around her house naked.

Lindsay lohan blonde Lindsay Lohan  was sued Wednesday for fraud by a chic Los Angeles boutique whose management claims she owes them almost  $17,000 for clothing, jewelry and accessories she purchased between November 2009 and February. Church Boutique owners David Malvaney and Rodney Burns, doing business as "Tough as Nails LLC," say Lohan, left, has paid just $180 out of $17,060.83 she owed. "Plaintiff's reliance on Lohan's representations [that her business manager would pay the bill] w[as] justified due to the celebrity of Lohan and her well-known status as a movie actress with substantial income," the complaint states. "Filing suit was the last thing we wanted to do, but after six months of not being paid, my clients were left with no choice," attorney Bill Crockett said. "They started this business from scratch, and that they have been successful in attracting an elite clientele does not mean they should be abused."

Actor Jeremy London has filed for a permanent injunction to prevent his mother, Deborah Nielsen, his twin brother, Jason London and Jason's girlfriend, Sofia Karstens, from discussing his personal life with the media. London's complaint, filed Wednesday in L.A. Superior Court, cites the ongoing investigation into London's bizarre kidnapping in Palm Springs in June, when, according to the actor, two men snatched him off the street at gunpoint and made him do drugs. According to the injunction application, London's attorneys sent a cease-and-desist letter to the family, but they continued to give interviews and "post false information" online, which has been "damaging to both his personal reputation and to his career in the entertainment business." The filing also states, "The detective in charge of the [kidnapping] investigation is concerned that the media frenzy caused by the actions of the defendants will compromise his investigation into the criminal matter."

Another day, another claim in the Mel-Oksana fight. Now Oksana Grigorieva's attorneys say Mel Gibson's attorney lied when he said Mel has been more than generous with Grigorieva, the mother of his baby daughter, Lucia. "The statement released to TMZ on behalf of Mel Gibson is based upon complete distortions of the truth regarding Mr. Gibson's financial contributions toward the parties' child and conveniently ignores his obligations to the parties' child under California law," says Marci Levine. Levine refused to say how much Gibson owes, but sources close to Grigorieva claim he has not paid child support since the couple split months ago. Levine says Gibson "persists in attempting to 'litigate' this matter in the media," and adds, "Unlike Mr. Gibson, Ms. Grigorieva has not, and will not engage in this type of undignified banter in the press."

Recent health problems -- an emergency appendectomy, brain hemorrhage, a small stroke and the discovery of a hole in his heart -- have not slowed down rocker and reality show contestant Bret Michaels, who says he'd love to fill Simon Cowell's seat the the "American Idol" judges table."We have a meeting in L.A. in a couple of weeks and we're going to sit down and talk," he says in an interview with Parade. "They did a poll and I think it was Madonna, P. Diddy, Howard Stern and myself, and I took 50 percent or 60 percent of the vote and that's tremendous. I would love to be a judge on 'American Idol.' I think I would bring a lot to the table." Not that Michaels thinks he could replace Cowell, the co-creator of the show. "I would have to bring my own personality," says Michaels. "I think if they have someone in there to try to imitate Simon, it would be a mistake; he's an original. ... Bring someone who can bring a little grit, true grit back to the show."

Morning Links: Dentist photographed damage to teeth of Mel Gibson's ex after January clash

After Mel Gibson and the mother of his baby, Oksana Grigorieva, had a physical confrontation on Jan. 6, Grigorieva did see a dentist for tooth repairs, and TMZ reports that there are photos of the damage to her mouth she says she suffered when Gibson punched her twice in the face. A source in Gibson's camp says the only damage was to veneers, and he didn't do it. "Mel has no idea what she did after he left the house."

Meanwhile, Gibson's attorney has fired back against Oksana Grigorieva's charges that she is supporting herself by borrowing money and maxing out her credit cards. Stephen Kolodny tells TMZ that Gibson has given Grigorieva the use of a mansion he owns, bought her a car and health insurance and gave her "tens of thousands of dollars to support her and Lucia over the past months." Kolodny says Gibson has provided much more than what's required of him under a support and custody agreement the former couple reached in mediation, which sources say is "well over $10,000 a month." But after Grigorieva denied Gibson the right to see their daughter on Father's Day, Kolodny says Gibson will pay her only what they agreed to in mediation.

Vince Neil mug shot Motley Crue frontman Vince Neil was arrested Monday morning in Las Vegas for DUI, police say. Police pulled Neil over after a woman told police he grabbed her camera and broke it after she took his picture. He was booked at the Clark County Detention Center. This is not the singer's first run-in with the law: In 1984 he pleaded guilty to DUI and vehicular manslaughter in the death of musician Nicholas "Razzle" Dingley. Neil's blood alcohol level was .17 when he crashed into another car, killing the Hanoi Rocks drummer and seriously injuring two others in the car. He served 15 days of a 30-day jail sentence, paid $2.5 million restitution to the victims and their families and served 200 hours of community service. In 2002, he was arrested for allegedly assaulting a music producer outside a Los Angeles nightclub. A year later he was charged with misdemeanor battery for allegedly attacking a prostitute at Nevada's Moonlite Bunny Ranch brothel. In both cases, he pleaded no contest, paid restitution and performed 100 hours of community service. And TMZ reports that Neil made a plea deal in 2007 in Las Vegas that dropped a DUI charge in exchange for his plea to reckless driving. That 2007 plea deal could save him from a jail term, because in Nevada, people who are convicted of DUI twice in seven years must serve jail time,  from 10 days to six months.

It could just be a negotiating tactic, but Steve Carell says Michael Scott will be resigning from "The Office" in May. On the red carpet for his new movie "Despicable Me," Carell said, "I just think it's time. I want to fulfill my contract. When I first signed on I had a contract for seven seasons, and this coming year is my seventh. I just thought it was time for my character to go." But he doesn't see the departure of Michael Scott as being fatal for the comedy ensemble set in the Scranton office of Dunder Mifflin. "It doesn't certainly mean the end of the show. ... I see it as a positive in general for the show." He added, "The show is great, and the ensemble is so strong, and the writers are great, so it's just one part of that ensemble drifting off."

In her cover story in the July issue of Vanity Fair, Angelina Jolie says she and Brad Pitt won't be getting married or working together anytime soon. "We're not against getting married," she said. "It's just like we already are. Children are clearly a commitment, a bigger commitment [than marriage]. It's for life." She and Pitt won''t be making a movie together, she says, because "We like working together, but we work together every day. We're building the most important thing together. A family." And she gave a personality rundown on all the children (except Pax): "Mad's a real intellectual, which I can take no credit for genetically. He's great at school, great at history. He feels like he could be a writer or travel the world and learn about places and things. Zahara's got an extraordinary voice and is just so elegant and well spoken. Shiloh's hysterically funny, one of the goofiest, most playful people you'll meet. Knox and Viv are classic boy and girl. She's really female. And he's really a little dude." And speaking of her little dude, Knox, what about tomboy Shiloh? "Shiloh, we feel has Montenegro style," Jolie says. "It's how people dress there. She likes tracksuits, she likes [regular] suits. So it's a suit with a tie and a jacket and slacks, or a tracksuit. She likes to dress like a boy. She wants to be a boy. So we had to cut her hair. She likes to wear boys' everything. She thinks she's one of the brothers." And the big family won't be getting any bigger right away, she says: "We want to make sure we don't build a family so big that we don't have absolutely enough time to raise them each really well."

Diandra Douglas got a $45 million settlement when she and Michael Douglas divorced 10 years ago, but now she's saying that she's owed 50 percent of his take from "Wall Street 2: Money Never Sleeps." A clause in their 2000 divorce settlement entitles her to half of his earnings from any residuals, merchandising or spinoffs of movies made while they were together, so Diandra filed suit against Michael in Manhattan Supreme Court earlier this month. "The divorce agreement says that Diandra and Michael are to split 50/50 anything related to the films he made during their 23-year marriage," a source told E! News. "She is seeking that money that she is owed. He unfortunately doesn't want to pay her it." Douglas' legal team says the movie is a sequel, not a spinoff, and isn't covered by the clause. "It's the same character, the same title, just years later," says Diandra's lawyer Nancy Chemtob. But in court, Michael's attorney Marily Chinitz said, "They're not the same thing. He doesn't want her to be an albatross around his neck forever."

Morning Links: Mother of Mel Gibson's baby says he battered her in a rage, won't support daughter

Mel gibson and fiancee Last Friday, Mel Gibson applied for a restraining order to keep the mother of his baby daughter away from him, apparently in answer to the restraining order she got against him earlier in the week. Reports emerged over the weekend that there was a physical altercation Jan. 6 between Gibson and Oksana Grigorieva, seen together at left in happier times. Sources close to Grigorieva say Gibson punched her in the face in a fit of rage, breaking her teeth and giving her a concussion. But Gibson's camp says "Oksana was completely out of control that day, screaming and shaking Lucia like a ragdoll. Mel stepped in to stop her from injuring the baby." A source close to Grigorieva says,  "Mel and his camp are spinning the facts in a desperate attempt to protect his reputation." The source denies she shook the baby, and instead, "She tried to protect the baby during one of Gibson's violent episodes." The dueling restraining orders were filed after Grigorieva withheld 9-month-old Lucia from the actor despite an agreement allowing a Father's Day visit. In an interview with a British newspaper, Grigorevia says Gibson pays her nothing to support the baby, and "I am having to live on credit cards and borrowed money." She also said, "There are so many lies being said about me. I was trying to keep things dignified and be respectful to the father of my daughter, but what he is doing is cruelty."

In tweets during the day Saturday, Randy Jackson said his parents were being exploited by the "Jackson Family Foundation," which arranged the event. "Let me be clear, there's no legitimate 'Jackson Family Foundation' that my brothers & sisters are aware of,"  he wrote. He also said, "I know my parents would not be involved if they really knew the characters they have aligned themselves with."

In an interview with the New York Daily News in July 2007, Capriati admitted to suffering from depression and having suicidal thoughts. She said, "When I stopped playing, that's when all this came crumbling down. If I don't have [tennis], who am I? What am I? I was just alive because of this. I've had to ask, 'Well, who is Jennifer? Morning Links: Fans gather near Michael Jackson's tomb as new photos of his kids are published

Blanket jackson Groups of fans began arriving yesterday at Forest Lawn Memorial Park in Glendale, Calif., to spend the anniversary of Michael Jackson's death as close to his mausoleum as they could get. Strict rules were put in place to ban sales of Jackson merchandise and prevent groups of fans from mobbing the tomb or the Jackson family home, where his children live with their grandmother, Katherine, their uncles, aunts and cousins. To mark the anniversary, E!News released photos of Jackson's three children, Prince Michael, 13; Paris, 12; and Blanket, 8, seen at left, at home. Also arriving at the cemetery were thousands of flowers, including hundreds of Michael's favorite, sunflowers. The flowers were dropped 100 yards from the tomb because of construction in the cemetery.

In an interview with Britain's "GMTV" to mark the anniversary, Michael's sister LaToya again claims that he was murdered. "Michael was murdered for his [music] catalog," she said. "Michael was worth so much more dead than alive. His children deserve the truth, I think his parents deserve the truth, his family and his fans." LaToya also says that Dr. Conrad Murray's continued freedom is "a slap in the face" to Michael, his family and all his fans. She said, "It's totally unfair, it's wrong and it was not an accident. I don't understand the justice system here. I don't understand what's going on and why this is taking so long and why the people that are responsible for this are not given the justice they deserve." She admitted that Michael was "excruciatingly thin" and not healthy when he died. "He's always been thin, but Michael was not well, and the people that worked around him knew that he was not well," she said. "Michael did not have a good bill of health, although it was reported that he did. ... Michael was freezing, [his] temperature would go up and down. He was extremely fragile. When you embraced him and hugged him, he was all bones." LaToya first alleged that Michael was murdered last July, when she noted that he had needle marks on his neck and arms.

The man who is under arrest in the bizarre kidnapping and forced drug use alleged by actor Jeremy London tells RadarOnline in a jailhouse interview that the two of them took a "joyride and partied for hours" on the night of June 10 in Palm Springs. Brandon Adams, 26, says the whole thing began when London and his wife Melissa arrived at a 7-Eleven where Adams and his uncle were hanging out and London asked asked Adams to "score him pills." Adams says, "There was no gun. There was never a pipe. We got drunk and I hooked him up with some Ecstasy and Xanax and we took a joyride and partied for hours." Adams said London and his wife "were hanging outside the 7-Eleven acting really strange. He was pacing and sweating and he looked tweaked out. His wife was acting paranoid too." Adams says he and his uncle and a friend asked the Londons if they needed help with their car's flat tire, then asked London for a ride home. "As soon as we got in the car, Jeremy asked us if we could get him five Xanax and five Oxycontin. Melissa was asking for Xanax too. I told him I could hook him up but that I wanted a couple of beers. He agreed." Melissa told RadarOnline.com that she asked Jeremy to take her home soon after the men got in the car, because she had "a gut feeling" that something was wrong. But Adams says he took London to his own house, where he met Adams' wife and children, then drove him to his neighborhood and dropped him off.

Earlier this week, London told RadarOnline that the kidnapper held a gun to his head and threatened to kill him unless he smoked a pipe filled with unknown drugs.

London's spokesman, Dominic Friesen, told EOnline, "Jeremy London has consistently passed all random drug testing administered by the State of California and has successfully maintained his sobriety. The recent jailhouse statements by Mr. Adams are nothing more than a fabricated and false account of the night in question. He is desperate to avoid a life sentence behind bars and will say anything to avoid the serious charges the D.A. has filed against him."

Lindsay Lohan has been ordered to submit to another deposition in the civil lawsuit caused by her 2007 DUI and drug arrest. Lohan's attorney says she has already been interviewed for eight hours by attorneys, and even though the judge has limited the term of this deposition to two hours, says the order borders on harassment. "In general, although I think that the questions they want to ask Lindsay are improper, we will participate in the deposition, as ordered by Judge Stone, and Lindsay will respond to their questions honestly," attorney Ed McPherson told E! News. "Fortunately, the judge has limited the harassment to two hours." Lohan was sued by Tracie Rice, the mother of the woman who was Lohan;'s assistant at the time, who was driving the car Lohan was chasing. Three men who were in the SUV Lohan commandeered to chase Rice's car have also sued her. Rice's attorneys are expected to question Lohan about her drug use at the time of the accident. The deposition will be taken after the July 6 hearing in her probation for the arrest.

Morning Links: Jackson family locking-down for Michael Jackson death anniversary

Jackson Family home TMZ reports that the Jackson family is planning for a deluge of fans on the one-year anniversary of Michael Jackson's death. The Jackson Family compound, left,  will be locked down, and upward of 40 officers from the LAPD will be patrolling the neighborhood on Friday, Saturday and Sunday to make sure that crowds don't become a problem.

It is also expected that the LAPD will be posting "no parking" signs around the neighborhood, and will crack down on vendors setting up tables to sell Jackson paraphernalia. Last year, more than 3,000 unauthorized t-shirts were confiscated after they started popping up after the singer's death.

Meanwhile, Forest Lawn, where Michael is buried, is also getting tough in advance of the anniversary of his death. Lindsay Lohan took to Twitter to rant about a reality television show on Bravo airing yesterday which portrayed her in a bad light. The show "Double Exposure" chronicles the daily life of fashion photographers, and the episode last night was called 'Is Lindsay Here Yet?' The episode shows an incident where Lohan was to appear at 10 a.m., but didn't show up for several hours.

Lohan called the show a total fabrication. "This couldn't be more UNTRUE. Sucks when 'friends' use you {in this case for ratings) even if they're lyin," Lohan tweeted. "As for Bravo and their false representation of me on their new show; I was given the wrong call time-now I know on purpose. . .it was a set up."

But an insider says it is true, and that show was being generous in saying she was eight hours late, when she was really ten hours late. Also, E! News notes that a women's fashion magazine wrote about the incident when it happened last fall, and noted that Lohan showed up at 8 p.m. for a 10 a.m. photo shoot.

Morning Links: Gary Coleman accused Shannon Price of stealing from him three months before he died

Gary coleman shannon price inside edition A previously sealed court document reveals that Gary Coleman sought a restraining order against his ex-wife, Shannon Price, saying she looted his home while he was in the hospital after heart surgery. In the documents, filed Feb. 19, Coleman said that while he was recovering in the hospital, Price was trespassing in his Santaquin home. "I am concerned that irreplaceable memorabilia, irreplaceable model trains, irreplaceable items of personal property will be stolen, damaged or destroyed," Coleman wrote, adding that Price "has shown a tendency to damage, destroy and steal my property and I believe she will continue to do so in my absence and while she is trespassing in my home." He asked the court to evict her from his home. The filing may weaken the legal claim of Price, who removed Coleman from life support after he suffered a head injury in a fall at his house while she was present. Price's legal claim to Coleman's estate is being opposed by Anna Gray, a former girlfriend of Coleman's, who has a legal will dated 2005. So far, Price has produced an unofficial, unwitnessed handwritten will. Coleman was cremated June 17, and in accordance to his will, no funeral service was held. A court-appointed attorney will hold the ashes until his heir is established.

Meanwhile, in a joint appearance on "the Joy Behar Show," Willie and Sue Coleman say they were robbed of a chance to say goodbye to their son. "I hurt more and more every day," Sue said. But they don't blame Price, who had Coleman's life support disconnected without notifying them. "We're not holding any animosity towards her because, like my wife said, she was young and inexperienced," Willie Coleman told Behar. Willie Coleman talked about their estrangement from their son, whom they adopted when he was four days old. "When Gary turned 18 years old, you know how you do a horse?" Willie said. "We were put out to pasture." Coleman said his son told him at the time, "I just feel that you were holding me in prison." Willie Coleman says he sometimes re-reads affectionate letters from his son, and they give him comfort.

Joe Jackson, Michael's father, has filed documents that inform Dr. Conrad Murray that Jackson intends to sue him for the wrongful death of his son a year ago Friday. Joe Jackson claims Murray lied to paramedics who asked what medications he had given Michael, and had been drinking at a strip club called Sam's Hofbrau hours before he allegedly administered the dose of Propofol that killed Jackson. The document says, "It was reckless for him to 'drink' prior to administering anesthesia to Michael Jackson.  He concealed his conduct from Michael Jackson." Joe Jackson argues that he has grounds to sue because of his father-son relationship with Michael and because he was a "dependent parent." TMZ, which reports that Murray received a copy of the document in March, was told by his legal team, "The allegations are absolute, utter nonsense." They say Murray does not drink.

Morning Links: Michael Jackson estate readies suit against 'exploitation' deals

Katherine Michael Jackson Michael Jackson's estate is readying to sue a businessman who has gone into business with Jackson's own mother, Katherine. Howard Mann acquired a "treasure trove" of Michael Jackson items when he paid off an overdue bill on a storage locker rented by Jackson's father, Joe. Mann and Katherine are releasing a book of photos this week called, "Never Can Say Goodbye." Mann also has plans with Katherine to release several albums featuring the previously unheard songs, as well as a possible biopic on Katherine herself.

Weitzman calls all of these deals an "exploitation" of "estate assets" and that he will take "whatever action is necessary to prevent him from unlawfully profiting." The attorney told TMZ that Mann "may be using his relationship with Mrs. Jackson to infringe upon Michael Jackson's copyrights ... to the detriment of, among others, Michael's 3 kids."

He wants to be a cameraman or produce movies."

The porn star who filed a paternity suit claiming Tiger Woods is the father of her 9-year-old son says she told him that the child is his and that he once gave her gifts "for your son." Devon James says she got pregnant in 2000 and did not see Tiger or tell him about the boy until 2006. She says that when she saw him in August 2008, she told him that he was the father of the boy, and while he didn't respond, he later gave her a golf club, a hat and a bracelet for the boy. Devon James's mother says she has DNA results that prove that another man, who was in prison when the boy was born, is his real father. On Father's Day, Tiger Woods was away from his kids, playing in the US Open, and two small planes towing mocking banners flew over the course. One of them read, "Tiger, are you my daddy?" and the other read, "Happy Father's Day Tiger LOL." Back in April, ESPN banned footage of two mocking banners that flew over the course while Tiger played in the Masters.

After he was the target of outrage from the hosts of "The View," ABC pulled ads for the show from Hilton's web site. Hilton told Entertainment Weekly, "I find it odd that an advertiser would choose to pull an ad off my site because the photo in question, which was not pornographic and showed a fully clothed Miley Cyrus, was not posted on my website or even linked from my site."
