Morning Links: Porn star claims 'love child' with Tiger Woods; mother refutes claim

Tiger Woods Porn star/escort Devon James claims to have had multiple sexual encounters over the years with pro golfer Tiger Woods, left, and that one of those encounters led to a child. James tells the site RadarOnline that she had a 2 1/2 year affair with Woods, who she said paid her $2,000 to have a threesome with another woman. James claims to have become pregnant at that time and gave birth to a son, who she named Austin, who is now 9-years-old.

James' mother, Sandra Brinling, however, says that the story is all made up. Brinling told E! News that her daughter is a "pathological liar" and that she is "only out to lie, steal and cheat. ... All she is looking for is to get money from him." Brinling tells the site, that at the time of Austin's birth, James was living with her and that the father of the child was in prison. Brinling says that she currently has custody of all three of James' children, and that she wishes that she could get the truth to Woods. "I would love to talk to Tiger Woods and apologize that that is my daughter doing that and tell him the real truth that I know," Brinling told E!

The executor of Gary Coleman's estate says that there will be no funeral for the late child star, per the wishes in his 2005 will. Coleman's body will be cremated once former girlfriend Anna Gray can pay her respects, but it is not clear what will happen to the remains. Coleman's ex-wife Shannon Price wants a private memorial service and to spread some of Coleman's ashes near some train tracks, because Coleman was a train enthusiast. But until the matter of multiple wills are settled in court, nothing is certain.

The recommendation now puts "The Blues Brothers" up there with other Vatican-endorsed films such as "The Ten Commandments," "The Passion of the Christ,""Jesus of Nazareth" and "It's a Wonderful Life."

Morning Links: Blogger Perez Hilton denies Miley Cyrus was exposed in photo he published

Perez hilton Blogger Perez Hilton, left, is being criticized and could face criminal charges for posting what appeared to be an explicit paparazzi photo of 17-year-old Miley Cyrus, taken as she was climbing out of a car. Hilton, whose real name is Mario Lavandeira Jr., removed the offending photo soon after he posted it on Sunday, but he could still face charges of distributing child pornography. Jeffrey Douglas, a Los Angeles criminal defense attorney specializing in child pornography cases, told Salon.com that it was "suicidal" for Hilton to distribute the image, in which Cyrus appeared to be without panties. "We're not talking about a misdemeanor," he said. Even if the photo was altered to make it appear as though Cyrus was exposed, Hilton could still be charged, Douglas says. But in a sassy taped interview, Hilton denies that Cyrus was exposed in the photo and adds that he only published it because he thought she was climbing out of the car "in a very unladlylike fashion! And, you know, I like to encourage Miley to be ladylike."

Gary Coleman's body is expected to be cremated in the next few days, but possession of his ashes -- along with the rest of his estate -- could remain unsettled for months. His ex-wife, Shannon Price, has offered a handwritten 2007 will allegedly signed by Coleman, and his ex-girlfriend Anna Gray, of Portland, Ore., has filed a typewritten witnessed 2005 will that leaves his estate to her and his collection of toy trains to several hobby shops. "Anna just wants to carry out Gary's wishes," her attorney, Randy Kester, told People. "Her will is the most objective reflection of what Gary wanted. We're going to be in this case for the long haul." Gray was a business associate of the actor's for about eight years before living with him briefly in Utah, Kester said. The will filed by Gray eliminated a 1999 will that appointed Coleman's former business manager Dion Mial as executor. "After seeing a copy of the 2005 document, it was clear we didn't have a dog in this fight," Mial's attorney said. In both Price and Gray's wills, Coleman asked to be cremated and that no funeral service be held, so cremation is expected to take place in the next few days. Price said she hopes to spread Coleman's ashes around train tracks, adding, "I want to make sure I have an urn and a necklace with his ashes. That's all I want." A Utah judge ruled Monday that Gray will be allowed 48 hours to view Coleman's body before it's cremated.

Meanwhile, Price says she removed Coleman from life support two days after he injured his head in a fall at their house because "This is what the doctors advised me." Coleman signed legal papers in 2006 in which he chose to "prolong life," but asked for medical treatment to be stopped if two doctors agreed his condition was terminal or if he was in a coma at least 15 days. "I did what I could," Price told "Entertainment Tonight." The doctors advised me that he was not going to make it because his heart was going to give out and [it was] the time to pull it. Gary and I had talked about that and he said, 'If I am a vegetable, just pull it.' I tried very hard to make sure that I did everything … for him to have a chance at surviving."

Police are again investigating the theft and wrecking of an unoccupied Mercedes belonging to Charlie Sheen, discovered crashed at the bottom of a cliff near his house in the Hollywood Hills early Tuesday. It was almost identical to the Feb. 5 incident in which Sheen's SUV was taken from his driveway and sent over a cliff near his house. Police says Sheen again left the keys in the car in the driveway of his gated community, and the new car was crashed about a mile from the spot on Mulholland Drive where the first car was found. Like the first time, neither the surveillance video from his house nor the guard gate shows anything of use. Nobody was ever arrested for the first theft. TMZ reports that law enforcement sources say police joked when they got the call early this morning that it was Sheen's car, not believing it would be. A police officer told EOnline, "Mr. Sheen spoke with PD but he has no idea [who may have taken the car] because there's no information from him."

Meanwhile, a 41-page agreement signed by both Charlie Sheen and Brooke Mueller sets out what each will get in case they divorce. The most interesting part of the agreement states that Mueller gets $55,000 a month in child support, and, according to the document, "under no circumstances shall the child support paid by Charlie for Bob and Max be less than the child support paid by Charlie to [ex-wife] Denise Richards for Sam and Lola." Richards is believed to get between gets $50,000 and $55,000 a month in child support. The document also states that Sheen and Mueller will share legal custody of Bob and Max, with Mueller getting primary physical custody and Sheen getting weekend custody.

Sources tell TMZ that Mueller is headed back to rehab for 30 days, but her spokesman says it's not rehab. "Brooke is receiving professional help in the area of stress management," says Elliot Mintz, because stress-related issues "have the potential for challenging her sobriety. By seeking proper guidance, she will be able to continue to resist returning to old behavior patterns."

Robert pattinson In an interview to be published Sunday in Parade, 'Twilight' star Robert Pattinson says kissing costar Kristen Stewart "felt a little bit more natural" in the duo's latest movie as their characters' relationship grew. "In 'New Moon' and 'Twilight,' it was always like, 'Oh, I'm gonna kill you if I kiss you' or something. It was always kind of odd," he says. "But, in this one, they [their characters] both understand their situation a lot more, which makes it easier. Kissing felt a little bit more natural in 'Eclipse' ... It's the first time Kristen and I have been able to just act like a normal couple."  But when asked, "Well, are you a real couple?" Pattinson replies, "I guess people like stories, that's my basic conclusion. They just want everything in our lives to be like 'Twilight.' The truth is ... that I wish I had a few more hours of sleep today so I could think of a better answer." But he does say that he shares the reticence of his vampire character, Edward Cullen: "Nowadays, everyone just goes around screwing everyone for no reason. I guess Edward doesn't really want to sort of cheapen his relationship with Bella, even though she's pushing him to go all the way. He's got this certain idea of how it should go with the love of his life. He wants to do it right and not just follow his base instincts. I guess I'm a bit old-fashioned in that way as well."

Morning Links: Gary Coleman had health care directive to live; ex-wife says she was forced

Gary Coleman Newly discovered documents show that Gary Coleman wanted to live no matter what. A health care directive signed by Coleman in 2006 stated that he did not want anyone to pull the plug. In the health care directive, Coleman checked the box for "Choice to Prolong Life" which states "I want my life to be prolonged as long as possible within the limits of generally accepted health care standards."

Price insists that she was "forced" to make the decision to go against the document and end Coleman's treatment. It is possible that the hospital interpreted the clause in the document which stated that if two physicians are in agreement that his condition was incurable, terminal and likely to result in his death within twelve months, then he wishes that treatment be discontinued.

Meanwhile, the death certificate is finally public. The official cause of death is listed as "closed head injury" as well as "chronic renal failure."

In the will, he appoints Gray as his executor and conservator of his person. He also bequeathed her most of his property, except for some of his model trains. "When Shannon moved in, the relationship got difficult because Shannon didn't like the fact that there was somebody else in his life," said Malcolm, "and, of course, he sided with [Shannon], and Anna was asked to leave." Police say "Mad Men" star January Jones did nothing wrong when she left the scene of an accident after striking two parked cars and then returned. Jones was at the wheel of her Range Rover around 9 p.m. Thursday when she struck several parked vehicles. A witness told police that Jones said, "I can't deal with this commotion," and walked away. Jones returned later and said she had left the scene – and her license in the Range Rover – because she was being followed by paparazzi. Oddly, witnesses said before walking away, she phoned chef Bobby Flay, who showed up at the scene and urged her to leave. In a statement, a rep for Jones said, "While being followed by paparazzi, Ms. Jones struck two parked cars. She did not flee the scene; she left her license with a witness and walked to her nearby home to call the police. She immediately returned to the scene to speak with the police." An LAPD spokesman said, "No crime occurred here. If this was a hit-and-run, Ms. Jones would have been arrested. She was being followed by paparazzi and hit two parked cars. She wasn't under the influence of anything. No one got hurt. That's pretty much it. There is no investigation."

The laptop owned by Brittany Murphy's deceased husband, Simon Monjack, revealed that he may have been paying child support to two women. The secret was discovered when Monjack's mother, brother and therapist looked at the computer while they stayed with Murphy's mother, Sharon, who was present when first her daughter and then her bereaved son-in-law died in the house. The Monjack family found emails from two women who wanted money from Simon for child support, for a son and a daughter.  Also in the computer was evidence of wire transfers of large amounts of money, up to $48,000 at a time, to attorneys and someone in Europe for some sort of settlement. Monjack's mother and brother handed the laptop over to the coroner, and it is currently being reviewed, but Murphy filed a theft report with police when she discovered the computer was missing from the house. The cause of Monjack's death in late May is still listed as "deferred."

Morning Links: Gary Coleman's ex-wife moves to claim estate; his ex-manager alleges 'foul play'

Gary coleman on red carpet Gary Coleman's ex-wife filed court papers Thursday in Utah to take over his estate, and a hearing on her claim is scheduled for Monday, according to her attorney, Todd Bradford. Shannon Price is contesting a typed 1999 will produced this week by Coleman's former manager Dion Mial, who told RadarOnline, "She is the full and complete impediment to honor Gary's wishes." In her papers, Price argues she was Gary's common-law wife and therefore has power over "disposition of the body." The handwritten codicil purportedly from Coleman, says that Price is his sole beneficiary. "This I have done because of my personal selfishness and weakness and I Love her with all my heart," the codicil states. The document states that Price should be the "sole heir of any and all monies, properties, bank accounts, earnings, model trains, vehicles, cars, toys, games, electronics, homes, other inheritances if any, all things physical and/or intellectual." It is dated 11:44 p.m. on Sept. 4, 2007, six days after the two married. They secretly divorced on Aug. 12, 2008, but, her attorney says, "Shannon and the decedent continued to have a romantic relationship and engage in romantic and sexual relations."
• • •

Mial and Price's war of words had become increasingly ugly even before she filed the papers. "I wholeheartedly believe there was foul play here," Mial said Thursday. "She's shamelessly brazen and coldly matter-of-fact about this precious life that we've lost." Price's spokesman, Shielia Erickson, said, "Shannon has God on her side! Gary is here as well! So all will work out to her good! This is all Gary wanted was to make sure Shannon was OK. Dion is confused as to Gary's priorities." Meanwhile, Coleman's body lies unclaimed in a Utah mortuary, EOnline reports. "In a situation like this where we have different individuals or family members claiming the right of disposition ... the Utah statute provides that we really don't do anything until we either receive a court order determining right of disposition or the parties themselves come to agreement," said Matt Bagley, spokesman for Memorial Mortuaries. Both Mial and Price agree that Coleman's wish to be cremated will be carried out, but they are arguing over the disposition of his ashes. Price says she will spread Coleman's ashes along train tracks since trains "were his hobby and he loved that very much." But Mial says Coleman wanted to have his ashes scattered in Hawaii.

"We had thought about leaving the show, and moving home if it was necessary," she said. "I was told I couldn't go shopping or basically [to] public places." Morning Links: Gary Coleman deathbed photo surfaces in tabloid

Gary Coleman The final photo of Gary Coleman before his death was snatched up by supermarket tabloid The Globe. The photo (purposely blurred at left) appears on the cover of this morning's issue, and shows Coleman in his hospital bed, with tubes coming out of his nose and his head heavily bandaged. Ex-wife Shannon Price leans in close to Coleman's still body, looking far from a mourning partner, with no tears are in her eyes. Instead Price looks like someone sneaking a photo they know isn't quite appropriate.

The headlines read "It was MURDER!", "Wife Shannon sobs: I didn't push him" and "Who killed him & why." The tabloid reportedly paid $10,000 to Price for the photos, which her rep continues to insist "were never meant to get out."

The hospital, in the meantime, continues to distance itself from the photo scandal. In a statement, the hospital said: "In accordance with federal privacy guidelines, no pictures are taken by hospital staff of any patient without patient or family permission. Utah Valley Regional Medical Center staff was not involved in taking any photos of Mr. Coleman."

Morning Links: Gary Coleman's executor locks Shannon Price out of house, demands she return property

Gary Coleman's former agent, who was named as his executor in the 1999 will filed yesterday in court, has changed the locks on the home Coleman shared with his ex-wife, Shannon Price, and has contacted police to force her to return things she has taken from the house, including a 2005 Dodge pickup truck, a cargo trailer, a video game system, computers, telephones and musical instruments. The local police chief says executor Dion Mial called police Monday night as Price and her father were loading property from the house into their vehicle, and police told him to return the items, which he did. But Mial says Price has already cleaned out the house.

Gary coleman shannon price inside edition In that will filed by Mial, Coleman ordered that only people who "really cared personally for Gary Coleman" be allowed at his services. The two-page typewritten will instructs that he be cremated, then requires that people allowed to attend the wake must be "those who have had no financial ties to me and who can look each other in the eyes and say they really cared personally for Gary Coleman." The will also says, "I direct my personal representative to permit no members of the press to be present at my wake or funeral." The will names Mial as executor of his estate, giving him broad powers to arrange the funeral and pay out estate assets to ""my entire estate to the Trustee of the Millennium Edge Trust."  The details of the trust were not revealed. Coleman's main asset was his $315,000 Utah home. In court documents accompanying the will, Mial complained that Coleman's ex-wife Shannon Price, 24, "has been removing personal property from [Coleman's] home which has not been inventoried or accounted for." Price's spokeswoman, Shielia Erickson, said Price has a 2007 will in which Coleman leaves her everything, and will use that to contest the 1999 will.

In an interview with Entertainment Tonight, Price said she plans to spread some of Coleman's ashes "around some train tracks, because trains were his hobby and he loved that very much. And I think that he would really appreciate that I did that for him." About his estate, Price says Coleman "wanted me to have everything," although he didn't have much money. "His financial problems have always been bad with people stealing from him," she said. "Gary hasn't been able to take care of finances very well because no one taught him. A judge briefly issued a bench warrant for Lindsay Lohan's arrest  after her alcohol-sensing bracelet reported that she had consumed alcohol, thereby violating her probation. Lohan's attorney, Shawn Chapman Holley, told TMZ that the bracelet "indicated the presence of a small amount of alcohol on Sunday night," after Lohan attended the MTV Movie Awards. Holley said, "Having just received the report, I am not in a position to speak to its accuracy or validity, however, Ms. Lohan maintains that she has been in complete compliance with all of the terms of her probation and her bail." Judge Marsha Revel ordered Lohan's current bail forfeited and set new bail at $200,000, which was immediately posted by the same bondsman who posted bail last month when Lohan failed to attend a required court hearing. The bench warrant was recalled and Lohan is due in court July 6 to explain herself. On her Twitter page Lohan wrote, "My scram wasn't set off-Its physically impossible considering I've nothing for it to go off-All of these false reports are absolutely wrong."

There was speculation that it was just another Speidi publicity stunt, but if so, it's legal too. Heidi Montag filed papers for a legal separation from Spencer Pratt on Tuesday, citing irreconcilable differences. In the document, which Montag wrote herself, she lists the date of separation as Tuesday, so any of her earnings on or after that date become her separate property. The papers say the pair married April 25, 2009.

Danielle_staub Hustler says it will release a sex tape featuring "Real Housewives of New Jersey" star Danielle Staub and a mystery man. The tape, which was reportedly shot last September, features Staub, who has proclaimed on the show that she's reformed after her checkered past, "She knows it's being released," Julie Messing, Hustler's director of public relations, said the tape was not offered to Hustler by Staub or by the man in it. "It was shopped to Hustler by a production company that purchased the rights to the video. They purchased the tape legally from an undisclosed party, maybe a rep or an agent. They wanted us to be the distributor," Messing said. The 75-minute sex tape will be released Monday.

Larry King’s wife Shawn Southwick overdosed on pills back on May 28, according to a 911 call obtained by RadarOnline. "I can’t wake her up," Shawn’s father Karl Engemann told a 911 operator after finding his daughter unresponsive at her home in Provo, Utah. "She may have overmedicated," Engemann tells the 911 operator. “I don’t think she did it on purpose. Last night she seemed confused about what she had taken, the last time she had taken it." Engemann denied that his daughter would have tried to kill herself. "No, no. No, it wouldn’t be suicidal," he says. Larry King and Shawn both filed for divorce on April 14 this year, but later reconciled. The pair have two sons.

Hey! Bravo stole my show!

Bravo

I had to laugh this morning when I read in our newspaper about the new Bravo network show "Work of Art: The Next Great Artist." It's a new reality show from Sarah Jessica Parker's production company, which pits artists against one another for a big cash prize and a major exhibit at the Brooklyn Museum.

The show is nearly identical to a show I concocted back in October 2007 during the middle of the hysteria of a possible Hollywood writer's strike.

Back then, for fun, I threw out a bunch of ideas, some crazy (see 'Ice Hotel'), some not so crazy, for production companies and networks to think about to fill holes in the nightly line-up if scripted television came to a screeching halt.

One of the shows, I called 'American Artist' and the concept was this:

American Artist: Have a competition in the spirit of American Idol or American Inventor where we look for the next undiscovered art phenom. Get artists of all ages, from different mediums and give them a weekly challenge, to paint, sculpt or photograph a theme or object. Film the contestants working on the piece during the week, and unveil it live. Have the American public vote for their favorite "masterpiece" every week. The winner gets an exhibit at the Museum of Modern Art and a major cash prize

I didn't think it was so crazy an idea. It was when 'American Idol' was really enjoying success, and 'American Inventor' had hit the airwaves. I thought it was a reasonable concept, and even signed off my blog saying, "Hollywood producers, you know where to find me..."

Well, nobody called, and I forgot about the blog until this morning when I read the wire story and visited the Bravo web site.

Here is how the network describes it:

Work of Art: The Next Great Artist will bring together fourteen aspiring artists to compete for a solo show at a nationally recognized museum and a generous cash prize.

In each episode, contestants are faced with the challenge of creating unique pieces in a variety of mediums such as painting, sculpture, photography, collage and industrial design. The weekly assignments are exciting, original and will challenge the artists to push the limits of their technical skills and creative boundaries. Completed works of art will be appraised by our panel of top art world figures alongside a new celebrated guest judge every week. Through a gallery showing at the end of each challenge, these industry select dictate which artists have successfully mastered the subject matter and creation of their piece, as well as whose concept leaves the greatest impact.

Pretty similar. Group of artists. Check. Different mediums. Check. Weekly challenges. Check. Winner gets a show at a major museum. Check. Cash prize. Check.

Only difference I can see if that America isn't voting, but a panel of art critics.

I guess I should be flattered that my idea is coming to the small screen, but I can't help but wonder whether I missed my calling in television.

It's not too late for 'Ice Hotel' ... Call me!

Morning Links: Gary Coleman estate under dispute; ex-wife behind deathbed photos

Gary Coleman It's a battle of wills. Literally. At least three wills created by former child actor Gary Coleman have surfaced this week. Ex-wife Shannon Price has a hand-written will dated in 2009, when they were still married, which names her as the sole beneficiary of Coleman's estate. Former co-star Todd Bridges claims to have a secret will that contains Coleman's true wishes, and will 'shut everybody up.' And Coleman's attorney has a will from 1999 which he said will trump all of them in court.

Bridges says of his document, "Gary had certain wishes [to exclude his parents]. I'm not going to go against a dying man's wishes. There's a reason why he didn't speak to them for 23 years."

Attorney Kent Alderman and Dion Mial, whom Coleman chose to be executor of his estate, both agree that the will Price claims to have will be ruled null and void in Utah court because it fails to meet certain criteria.

Price's rep, however, is fighting for what she thinks is her client's. Sheilia Erickson says that her client gave Coleman the money to have the will drafted, and that his wishes should be honored. Erickson also claims that Coleman had a falling out with Mial and said that they weren't friends any longer.

But it appears that Alderman and Mial will be successful in court this week.

Price rep also confirmed that Shannon was behind the photos that are being shopped around the tabloid world. Erickson confirms that Price and her family took photos of Coleman while he was on life support, but also of his lifeless body, hours after he passed. Utah Valley Regional Medical Center employees noted that the family was taking photos of Coleman, and news of the photos landed on TMZ. The photos of Coleman on life support are said to have been snapped up, for a reported 5-figures, but the death photos were turned down as poor taste. Price's rep insists that the photos "were never meant to get out," but Price is expected to benefit from the sale of the photos.

Coleman's parents call the photos "extremely disrespectful." Sue Coleman told TMZ, "I can't think of any other reason why she would do that unless it's just for the money."

Charlie Sheen's plea deal in his domestic assault case has 'hit a snag' according to E! News. Pitken County District Attorney Arnold Mordkin tells the site, "We need more time than is available for us to complete some of the finer points [of the plea deal]." Sheen was going to make his plea deal in court yesterday and expected to be sentenced to 30 days in jail. A source tells E!, ""This was a big surprise, we thought everything would go according to plan."

TMZ reports this morning that Pitkin County's Jail Administrative Officer, Beverly Campbell, was the one who caused the snag. Campbell, according to the site, wanted to take a harder line on Sheen's plea deal. Campbell doesn't believe Sheen is eligible for work release, but that he only qualifies for Useful Public Service. Under UPS, Sheen would only be eligible for daily release between 10 AM and 4 PM, as opposed to the proposed 8 AM to 8 PM window that Sheen's team requested. Campbell also wants to limit the quality of meals Sheen can have on the outside, not to mention prevent Sheen from smoking.

After the brief kiss with Johannson, Bullock said, "Now that we have done that, can you please go back to normal? "Because therapy is expensive... Get back to making fun of me!"

The night's other buzzed-about moment was an energetic hip-hop dance routine perfomed by Jennifer Lopez and her pal Tom Cruise, who was in character as the brash, foul-mouthed movie mogul Les Grossman from the movie "Tropic Thunder."
