They are two of the most eccentric, unusual but still lovable families ever to grace the small screen. And on Halloween, the Hallmark Channel is taking viewers on an all-day visit with the Munster and Addams families.
First, get ready to return to 1313 Mockingbird Lane when the Hallmark Channel shows a "Munsters" marathon from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Sunday. The 10-hour marathon will feature 20 episodes in the lives of the well-meaning, but hilarious, Munster family (at left) -- Herman (Fred Gwynne), Lily (Yvonne DeCarlo), Grandpa (Al Lewis) and, of course, little Eddie (Butch Patrick) and his werewolf doll.
Then at 6 p.m., it's nine hours of the 1960s TV series "The Addams Family" which will run right up through 3 a.m. In addition to seeing Mom and Dad Addams --AKA Morticia (Carolyn Jones) and Gomez (John Astin) --we'll get to laugh to the zany antics of Cousin Itt, Thing and Grandpa Fester.
