Nicole Kidman didn't look pregnant in the weeks leading up to the birth of her second daughter with singer Keith Urban, and there's a reason for that -- their new daughter, Faith Margaret Kidman Urban, was born to a surrogate Dec. 28 in Nashville. Although she was carried by another woman, Faith is the biological daughter of Kidman and Urban. "Our family is truly blessed, and just so thankful, to have been given the gift of baby Faith Margaret," the family says in a statement. "No words can adequately convey the incredible gratitude that we feel for everyone who was so supportive throughout this process, in particular our gestational carrier." Kidman and Urban said nothing about being new parents when they were photographed at the Golden Globe Awards Sunday night, above. TMZ reports that Kidman and Urban chose Nashville because they would not be able to keep the pregnancy secret in Australia, where "they live in a fishbowl." Faith joins big sister Sunday Rose, born in July 2008, and Isabella and Connor, adopted by Kidman during her marriage to Tom Cruise.

Melissa Etheridge has found new love with "Nurse Jackie" creator Linda Wallem, who was "best man" at Etheridge's wedding to Tammy Lynn Michaels in 2003. Although a friend of the couple says the pair, who are "in a committed relationship" and "happy," didn't start their relationship until "three months after Melissa and Tammy broke up," Etheridge's ex is telling another story. Melissa and Tammy had a bitter split a year ago, and Tammy complained in October that Melissa left her without even enough money to buy food. In a lengthy, poem-like verse on her blog, Michaels implies that Etheridge's new relationship began while they were still together. "One never even said one was breaking up with me," Tammy writes. "I trusted there was no one else. ... I didn't know there was someone moving in as I was moving out." But, she writes, "I have had some time to let it digest, rip my stomach apart, digest some more, and I think I'm in a better spot now." The friend of Etheridge's says that Michaels and Etheridge have gotten along better since their clash last summer over support and custody of their 4-year-old twins, Johnnie Rose and Miller: "Everybody really is in a better place now."

Elton John and David Furnish say that they don't know which of them is the biological father of their son, Zachary. Although John is listed as the father and Furnish the mother on the baby's birth certificate, Furnish says he and John "both contributed" to a semen sample that was used in the conception of Zachary, who was born to a surrogate mother on Christmas Day. Furnish said, "We both contributed. For the time being we don't have a clue. We look at him every day and at the moment he has Elton's nose and my hands. ... Neither of us care. He's our child. The important thing is that he's healthy and happy and loved."

Miranda Kerr has confirmed that she and Orlando Bloom are the parents of a baby boy named Flynn, born Jan. 6. The Victoria's Secret model writes on her blog, "'He weighed 9 lb 12 ounces (a very healthy and big baby boy) ... I gave birth to him naturally; without any pain medication and it was a long, arduous and difficult labour, but Orlando was with me the whole time supporting and guiding me through it. I could not have done it without him. We are so happy and are enjoying our time together as a family. He is our little ray of sunshine. Thank you everyone for your beautiful well wishes and your lovely thoughts." Kerr and Bloom, 33, have been together since 2007 and married quietly in July.

Canadian model Gabriel Aubry has asked a court to formally acknowledge that he's the father of Halle Berry's daughter, Nahla, 2½, and that he has the right to share physical and legal custody with Berry. The couple's two-year relationship ended last April. In papers filed Dec. 30 in Los Angeles Superior Court, Aubry says that he and Berry have already signed documents establishing his paternity of Nahla, whose last name is listed as Aubry.
