7:45 PM on SHOWTIME

Movie: The Hurt Locker

Director Kathryn Bigelow, a specialist in action dramas such as "Point Break," turns her
attention to the Iraq War with this acclaimed story of a U.S. military unit assigned to defuse
bombs. The film gives a realistic depiction of the endless tension the soldiers face in trying
to determine the locations of such explosives, as well as the intentions of those they
encounter. The excellent cast includes Jeremy Renner, Guy Pearce and Ralph Fiennes.

8 PM on FX

Movie: Changeling

Clint Eastwood directs Angelina Jolie in this fact-inspired drama about a woman whose son
vanishes in 1920s Los Angeles. Years later, detectives from the then-ethically challenged Los
Angeles Police Department find a boy who claims to be hers, but she has her doubts. An
activist (John Malkovich) is virtually the only person who supports her as others debate her
maternal worthiness. Colm Feore, now on television's "24," also appears.

checkered flag by nearly two seconds. The victory gave Hamlin a sweep of the Cup and
Nationwide races at Darlington, something that hadn't been done since Mark Martin did it in
1993.

9 PM on HBO

Lady Gaga Presents the Monster Ball Tour: At Madison Square Garden

Not to be confused with the movie "Monster's Ball," this new special is all Gaga, all the

out New York audience. The music is framed by a fanciful story about Lady Gaga's efforts to
get to a Monster Ball across town. (MA)

winner and the cash prize. Phil Keoghan hosts. (PG)

8 PM on Channel 2

On." (PG)
