FRIDAY

8 PM on FX

Movie: Role Models

The title is ironic in the case of this amusing comedy starring Paul Rudd and Seann William
Scott as novice mentors most parents wouldn't want for their children. The main characters are
salesmen who run afoul of the law, then choose to counsel youngsters rather than go to jail …
but the "wisdom" they dole out isn't too admirable. Elizabeth Banks plays Rudd's
ex-girlfriend. Jane Lynch and Christopher Mintz-Plasse ("Superbad") also appear.

8:30 PM on CINEMAX

Movie: Independence Day

Will Smith heads an all-star cast in this 1996 edge-of-your-seat sci-fi thriller about an
alien armada on a mission to invade Earth. After much of mankind is destroyed, a band of
survivors joins forces to repel the invaders and save the world. Directed by Roland Emmerich,
the film also stars Bill Pullman, Jeff Goldblum, Mary McDonnell, Judd Hirsch, Robert Loggia
and Randy Quaid.

11 PM on SHOWTIME

Movie: Zack and Miri Make a Porno

The title pretty much spells out the plot of writer-director Kevin Smith's comedy, which
follows the trend of combining raunchiness and sweetness. Seth Rogen … already a veteran of
the specific genre … and Elizabeth Banks have the title roles as roommates who try to solve
their financial desperation by starring in and marketing an amateur porn film. The process
ultimately prompts them to reveal surprising feelings for each other.

SATURDAY

2:30 PM on Channel 7

NASCAR Racing

When you're hot, you're hot, as the song goes, and Kyle Busch was certainly that at last
year's spring race at Charlotte. Coming off a weekend sweep at Dover, Busch rallied from two
laps down at the 1.5-mile quad-oval at Charlotte Motor Speedway in Concord, N.C., for his
fifth Nationwide victory of 2010. He returns today to defend his title in the Top Gear 300
against a field that includes Justin Allgaier, Elliott Sadler and Aric Almirola.

5 and 11 PM on LIFETIME

Movie: The Boy She Met Online

This is why parents really need to stay on top of their kids' Internet use. A teenage girl
(Tracy Spiridakos) falls for a fellow she connected with on a social networking site. She
thinks he's a 23-year-old college student and is shocked … but you won't be … to learn that
he's not what he claimed to be. Alexandra Paul and Thea Gill also star in this cautionary tale
made for the U.S. cable channel Lifetime.

8 PM on CMTV

Movie: The Rookie

A high-school coach (Dennis Quaid) who gave up his baseball dream enters into a life-altering
bargain with his young players. They agree to work as hard as possible, and if they make it to
the playoffs, Coach Morris (Quaid) has to try out for the majors. Rachel Griffiths, Beth
Grant, Brian Cox and Jay Hernandez co-star in this 2002 family flick, which is based on a true
story.

9 PM on SPIKE

Movie: Rambo

All you need is to hear the title and know Sylvester Stallone is in charge, as director and co-
writer as well as star, and that should cover most questions. More than 25 years after his
first screen appearance, the human fighting machine of few words and much brawn departs from
Thailand to save missionaries captured while trying to rescue imprisoned peers. Julie Benz
("No Ordinary Family") and Ken Howard also appear amid the plentiful carnage.

11 PM on COMEDY

Movie: Idiocracy

Most science fiction envisions a future where we've all gotten smarter. But the way things are
going, a dumbed-down future is more likely. That's the premise of this spot-on 2006 satire
from Mike Judge ("Office Space," "King of the Hill"). A soldier and a hooker (Luke Wilson,
Maya Rudolph), both of average intelligence, are cryogenically frozen and awaken centuries
later to discover they're the smartest people alive. Scary? Yes, but hilarious.

SUNDAY
12 PM on Channel 7

2011 Indianapolis 500

The Memorial Day weekend tradition returns with the 95th running of the Indianapolis 500 from
Indianapolis Motor Speedway. IndyCar's best will compete on the 2.5-mile rectangular oval for
the Borg-Warner Trophy, including drivers such as Will Power, Danica Patrick, Ryan Briscoe,
Helio Castroneves, and defending race and series champion Dario Franchitti.

5:30 PM on Channel 29

NASCAR Racing

The Memorial Day weekend is one of the best for auto racing fans, as it includes the Indy 500
as well as tonight's Coca-Cola 600 at Charlotte Motor Speedway in Concord, N.C. A field that
includes Jimmie Johnson, Denny Hamlin and Carl Edwards will try to outlast one another on the
1.5-mile oval in the Sprint Cup's longest race. Last year, Kurt Busch followed up his All-Star
Race win at Charlotte with a win in this contest, beating Jamie McMurray by less than a
second.

8 PM on ESPN2

MLB Baseball

A matchup of National League playoff contenders is on tap tonight at Atlanta's Turner Field,
where the Braves close out a three-game series against the Cincinnati Reds. The Reds won the
NL Central last year behind the league's top offense, led by 2010 NL MVP Joey Votto, and some
quality pitching. The Braves were the NL wild card team last season, and are picked by many to
return to the playoffs in Fredi Gonzalez's first season as Braves manager.

8 PM on Channel 17

National Memorial Day Concert (2011)

Rendered even more meaningful by recent events in Pakistan, this annual tribute to the troops
also observes the 10th anniversary of the attacks of Sept. 11, 2001, and the 70th anniversary
of Pearl Harbor. Troops who have served in Iraq also receive a special welcome home. Gary
Sinise and Joe Mantegna co-host the event, which includes performances by B.B. King, Kris
Allen, Dianne Wiest, Hayley Westenra and others. (G)

10 PM and Midnight on HBO

Treme

Rocker John Hiatt and pianist Henry Butler perform in the new episode "Feels Like Rain," as
Hidalgo (Jon Seda) does Councilman Thomas a favor, Janette (Kim Dickens) discovers that
Jacques (Ntare Mwine) is in trouble, Antoine (Wendell Pierce) appoints a straw boss, and Sofia
(India Ennenga) comes to a realization. Melissa Leo and Steve Zahn also star. (MA)
