More from OP's 34-0 rout of Lancaster

The Lancaster at Orchard Park football game was 13-0 after three quarters before OP erupted for three touchdowns in the fourth.

OP had scored on back-to-back possessions in the fourth quarter to open up a 27-0 lead with 7:35 to go. They put an exclamation point on their fourth shutout when Jeff Tundo scored on a 1-yard run with 1:51 left.

Many Lancaster faithful were crying foul with what they saw as a tacked-on score, but not Lancaster coach Len Jankiewicz.

"The whole game Orchard Park dominated us. They play four quarters and we have to keep our people up there too. Orchard Park is a great team and they were just finishing strong," he said.

The game was the first for the Quakers as the No. 1 ranked team in the New York State Sportswriters poll. They had been ranked No. 2 in Class AA the first four weeks of the season.

"We heard about it. We talked about it a little bit," said OP linebacker Brendan Nuessle. "But it's only Week Six, so it really doesn't mean that much. I'd rather be No. 1 after Week 13."

For this game to be close for three quarters wouldn't Lancaster have to put up some points? Or Atleast drive on Op's defense?
