Week Nine walkthrough: One step from The Ralph

Ten games, 20 teams, one step from The Ralph.

The Section VI semifinals take center stage during a jam-packed weekend which also features a major Monsignor Martin matchup of Canisius at St. Francis. That game, as well as eight semifinals, will be played on what should be a fantastic Friday night.

As we've done a few times this year, we're tweaking our poll because the rematch of Orchard Park at North Tonawanda game -- a Ralph-worthy matchup in itself -- is regarded as the top game this weekend.

Vote in our poll about the top "other" game of the weekend. The entire season schedule is here while the playoffs-only lineup is here.

Now let's get right down to it -- who's going to win?

Here are the polls we put together before the start of the playoffs, asking you which teams you thought would go all the way in each classification (Class AA, Class A, Class B, Class C and Class D).

Last week brought us Grand Island's stirring win at Williamsville South as well as huge road victories for Alden and Albion. Who will be big winners this week?

Why did you vote the way you did? Which game are you going to?

Let us know about it in the comments section below.
