NT victory rally Wednesday night

The biggest Lumberjack of them all flexes prior to NT's AA state final. (Keith McShea/Buffalo News) North Tonawanda has one of the best high school football traditions in Western New York, and now that they have their first state championship, they know how to celebrate it.

NT is holding a victory rally Wednesday evening at the Lumberjack Athletic Complex football field, athletic director Greg Witman announced today.

An 8 p.m. rally will include -- of course -- Dick Grapes, the voice of the Lumberjacks, introducing the team and the coaches. There will be talks from players, coaches, administrators and politicians, performances by the cheerleaders and a victory bonfire to close the event.

I'm guessing this guy on the right will be there, too. I was one of many to take a picture of the biggest Lumberjack of them all while he walked around the Carrier Dome prior to NT's Class AA championship win.
