Big summer helped OP's Druding

Orchard Park senior Jaymie Druding, who is currently out about three weeks with a knee injury, is headed to the University of Maine next year on scholarship, an opportunity that came about due to an excellent summer in AAU play with the Jamestown Elite program.

"It was my first year [participating in summer play], and this was the year I needed it," said Druding. "It really helped. I kept going to tournaments throughout the summer, and the more I went to, the more scouts I had. It went from four to five local schools to like 15 to 20. It was definitely worth it."
