Friday Night Live: Let us know what you saw

I'm grounded tonight.

Not really. I'm heading up the operation in the office on a busy night of games -- about 34 boys and 25 girls, and that's just hoops -- so there won't be bopping around to different gyms with the iPhone tonight.

I'll update big developments when I can, but when all those phones start ringing, there's not a lot of time.

If I was able to head out, I'd certainly be at Williamsville South for its ECIC II clash with fellow top 10 school Sweet Home.

If you go out to a game -- or any other contest -- feel free to let us know what you thought of the players, teams and the experience right here.

8:10 p.m. Report e-mailed in from Park coach Sil Dan at South: Host Billies lead Sweet Home, 15-8, after first quarter.

8:21 p.m. More from coach Dan: South leads, 33-29, at halftime.

10:17 p.m. South won, 68-52; No. 1 Jamestown LOSES at home to Frontier with four starters out, 64-57; Alden BEATS visiting Lackawanna (No. 4 small school), 63-54.

Coaches, our apologies if you were on hold. We have a 10:15 p.m. deadline and it is absolute insanity in here.

I'm going back to work.

11:57 p.m. Feel like I just played in one of these games I've been writing up. Whoa, what a night.

Here's the scoreboard, including Nichols falling behind, surging back but falling, 71-66, to Jamesville-Dewitt -- the state's top-ranked Class A team -- in Syracuse.
