7:05 p.m. I've just arrived at Lockport, where Falls has a 36-31 lead on the host Lions in the second quarter. I've kept track of the game thanks to 1340 WLVL-AM.
7:16 p.m. At halftime we're enjoying the Lockport Royal Lions stomp team. Falls has a 45-35 lead. Falls has threatened to turn it into a blowout but Lockport has hung around -- if the Lions stop hanging around, I might try and make it to St. Francis.
7:50 p.m. Falls wins, 86-65. We are headed south and we'll see if we can catch the end of St. Joe's at St. Francis. Got a dunk from both sides on video, so that's cool. I'll post those later.

8:37 p.m. We are at St. Francis and the great news is that we got here in the second quarter. I caught a few possessions as Frannies held a slim lead, and senior Joe Pantano just swished a three-pointer from the right corner at the halftime buzzer to give Frannies a 32-28 lead at the break. Big shot for the Red Raiders and it got a big roar from it's packed student section.
I was actually able to pick up the St. Francis Internet radio broadcast on the iPhone while driving here. In the words of Napolean Dynamite's brother Kip, "I love technology."
9:07 p.m. St. Joe's leads St. Francis, 44-41, at the end of the third quarter.
I might cut it close on the chat, but I'm going to stay here until the end. I'll start the chat ASAP.
9:10 p.m. While I've been typing, St. Francis has taken a 47-46. Lead behind two Anthony Weichec putbacks and St. Joe's calls a timeout with 5:52 left.
After some missed free throws by St. Francis, St. Joe's was within three during the last minute but some good Red Raider defense helped Frannies keep the lead.
9:33 p.m. We have a FINAL SCORE: St. Francis 56, St. Joe's 50.
Driving to One News Plaza for the chat ...

I discussed both games during the chat, which is the next post down here.
