Canisius vs. Nichols: Who's going to win the Manhattan Cup?

Championship Week gets tipped off in a major way with the Manhattan Cup championship at 6 p.m. Sunday at Canisius College.

Canisius won the teams' first meeting, 51-50, on Jan. 25 (writeup and blog) when Ron Canestro was out of the lineup for the Vikings. Nichols won, 77-54, just last week (story and blog).

Canisius won last year's final, 69-60 (story and blog) despite losing twice to Nichols during the regular season. Actually, like this year, Nichols won big just before the playoffs, routing Canisius, 68-38, in the final game played at the school's auditorium. Nichols won last year's first game, 72-47.

Check out our PrepTalkTV episode in which the teams earned trips to the finals and talked about the matchup.
